All joking aside 3 days before the game people should have tickets, to enable them to sort out any problems if they arise, as that's when Motherwell start blaming Hampden and vice versa and as a result people miss the game.
My favourite quote was when Iain Ferguson was talking about the Dundee Utd jinx of always losing in the final.
"I don't believe in jinxes, but I hope it continues".
I think i'm correct in saying, we haven't lost a semi to a non OF team since Airdrie. Is that right ?
One bad omen is that I've never seen my team (ok Scotland, not Motherwell) win from that end of Hampden.
Excited for the semi obviously, but shitting it too. Got a wedding in Blantyre thursday, a gig in Tarbert Friday and the semi on Sat. Three whole days off the rock for me !
Beating Dundee United will never not be enjoyable no matter who their manager is. A more arrogant support you’d struggle to find outwith Celtic and Aberdeen.
Difficult to say until we see them line up.
Johnny K and SOD both starting, so likely one of them switches flanks. Unless McGinn takes that slot and SOD goes central.
Or something else...
Ive just transferred 1 ticket, as long as they other person has downloaded and logged on to the app, the transfer is straightforward, make sure you use the email address they logged on to the app with, its not an instant process, maybe 10 15 mins or so.
I heard from a guy well connected at Hearts that at the start of the season he was offered to us - unsure if it was a loan or permanent move for cash - but we knocked it back.
I’m 100% sure this is true and 90% sure it was a permanent move. Maybe someone else has heard similar.
100% yes.
Celtic win trophies, that’s what they do, that’s what you expect. And if any non Old Firm club is going to break that cycle on occasion and win a domestic Cup then I want to be us. Not Killie, not St.Johnstone and certainly not St.Mirren who would be there after knocking us out in a Semi Final. Apart from the fact that I can’t stand them and their odious boneheaded fans I don’t want to see them lifting silverware if we can’t do it.
That said I wouldn’t begrudge Hearts winning the league this season but that doesn’t concern us really because we’re not in contention for that.
