Dissapointed JBA is gone, as we prepare for Europe but it was always going to happen. Hes away to a bigger club, bigger and better resources, more money for players and no doubt a massive wage increase so who can blame him. We move on, onwards and upwards and ive no doubt the board will appoint another manager who will carry on what JBA started and take the team forward.
-
When i saw that i naturally thought JBA or his agent must have applied for the post but i have little faith in the online rumours, or AI generated nonsense. For me if true at best its a list of 3 managers allegedly Toulouse would like to talk to, if they get permission from existing clubs etc, but so far theres been a distinct whiff of keech from all of these so called "facts".
-
Spot on, its the people running the club that are responsible for recruiting a manager who aligns with their views on how they want the team to play, the development of the club and players, fan engagement and financial goals to name a few. So if JBA does leave then given the changes we have seen this season im confident that whoever takes over will continue where he left off and take the club forward.
-
We should be on the phone to Guardiola, weve played like Man City this season so he would hit the ground running, and feel right at home,, plus his career would be complete with a spell managing in Scotland, nothing ventured norhing gained.
-
Shockerooney another X post suggesting no deal has been done, its not official until JBA is pictured in France with a Toulouse scarf in one hand and z baguette in the other https://x.com/i/status/2057172498651738157

Part of the problem is that entering the field of play is not a specific criminal offence in scotland, as it is in England and Wales so its encouraging that the Scottish government have announced that they are looking to change that going forward. But unless the relevant parties ie Scottish Government, SFA, SPFL clubs, police Scotland and local authorities get together and get serious, nothing will change.
-
Points deduction for Celtic, as much as i would love it to happen, its the SFA we are talking about. If GrizzlyG had posted that it would have been his best attempt at humour all season.
-
He will be gone as soon as we are pumped by Brazil and Morocco and home early with the other diddy teams, glorious failure and all that guff. Then the SFA blazers on return from their expenses paid junket to the USA, will appoint another "safe pair of hands" and the whole sorry cycle will start again
-
Yup totally agree, no responsibility or accountability for blatantly wrong decisions especially the shambles the other wednesday at Fir Park which effectively cost Hearts the title. The referees do what they like and the fuds at the SFA back them all the way, openly pandering to two clubs at the expense of the other 40. And if thats not bad enough, we have a biased media, local autorities and police Scotland taking little or no action as has been said before, its Scotlands shame.
-
There is more chance of the true story of JFK,'s assasination in Dallas being released than hearing any of the VAR audio from last Wednesday ie never.
-
I think we should trust in JBA and the recruitment ream to identify suitable targets that would enhance the team and the style we now play. We need to build on this seasons successes, so for me i hope there are no project signings, lets see what Daws and the data comes up with.

When is Robinson expected to be fit again, so we can punt him, surely he must be out of contract this summer?
-
There are loads of AI fake images doing the rounds showing ' a clear handball" no doubt Gollum will refer to them to justify Dallas and Beatons feck up. As for Tam Cowan, hes a walloper and best ignored.
-
The uglies, especially the green ones think that they are untouchable, the SFA are shit scared of upsetting them, so nothing will happen. You are spot on the whole sorry debacle is entirely of the SFA's making by their failure to take serious effective action against the blue or green uglies, its Scotlands ongoing shame.
-
Unfortuately It was a Stonewall penalty, no dodgy var decision required.
-
Dunfermline wont keep out Celtic irrespective of who starts in goals, so there will be no pressure on him.
-
Nah all they will get is a large fine for the club for all that pyro nonsense on Saturday.
-
England has far superior technology in use for VAR, professional referees that use it well and very rarely make a mistake, decisions are explained by the refs to the crowd as they happen. Compare this with the incompetent amateurs who take no reasponsibility or accountabillity, explain nothing running the poundshop Var in Scotland and its no wonder its a shitshow.
-
A problem entirely of their own making, i assume its not the Celtic fans allegedly harrassing Beaton, which is totally unacceprable under any circumstances. So why does Beaton keep getting Celtic games given the issues involving him. The statement condems everyone else but fails to mention any intention to resolve the main issue, ie incompetent match and Var officials continuously getting decisions wrong.
-
Every VAR review ive watched there is at least one descision that Gollum admits was wrong, pen/ no pen, red card/ yellow card etc. So they freely admit they get it wrong, but take no responsibility for their actions, and the is no sign of any changes or improvement.
-
Lead story on the STV news, the "penalty" desicion from last night, worlwide condemnation, ridicule, worst var judgement ever etc. There was a token celtic fan who said it was a stonewalller, oh and o'Neil says he could not see it clearly.. Twitter full of fake AI images to confirm it was a pen, no doubt Collum will use them in the VAR review.
-
Every club needs to take every opportunity to call out this nonsense Dave as and when it happens, sitting back and complaining about Var, poor referees, perceived bias etc, etc but doing nothing about it, will change nothing. The SFA sre shit scared to upset either of the ugly sisters, as are the Scottish football media so change wont happen overnight, but it has to start somewhere.
-
Additional time is allowed for a penalty kick to be taken at the end of each half of the match or extra time. In this case, the penalty kick is completed (and the half is ended) when the ball: ➡ stops moving ➡ goes out of play ➡ is played by any player other than the defending goalkeeper or ➡ the referee stops play for an offence by the kicker or the kicker’s team So if you are over the alloted 5 mins of ET, the match goes on till the Var check is resolved and if its a pen, when the ball hits the net etc its game over
-
It was a bit of a shock to see the players starting the game with it last night, but i agree it a cracking looking strip, with no tacky sponsor logos to spoil it.
-
Its a certainty that if the incident is discussed on the Var review and i have my doubts,,there will be some mysterious technical issue to explain why its not available, hearing Dallas shouting "penalty, penalty, stonewaller, no need to check John" would not be a good look.
