  1. Aye ok then fancy new stadiums and training facilities, feasabillity studies, its all a bit hypothetical pie in the sky BS for a club of our size and means. Personally id settle for decent, fit for purpose seats in the POD.
  2. The players are professional athletes, well looked after and being well paid for what they do, playing two games of football a week, should not be a problem for them. If we want to improve in Europe to be regular participants and make the group stages for the first time, being ready to play two games a week is the standard we should be aiming for.
  3. Thats normal procedure for games against the uglies, if they were losing or needing a goal it would be more than 5.
  4. The turkeys dont vote for christmas, the clubs inherrent self interests will kick in so any plan that involves less income from games especially against the uglies will never be agreed.
  5. So far for me in the emails and statements from the club on this issue the standout thread is finance., Did not want to reduce seats in the POD, maximising seat availability for the Euro games, etc. This is what you would expect if the existing seats were compliant etc but not when the alleged solution swapped out better seats for cheap, shoddy not fit for purpose ones, thats putting profit ahead of fan comfort and safety. The reduction in the pod prices back in May/June now makes sense, to nullify the more money for poorer seats argument, however that objective failed with the choice of seats we got. We all know the constraints of the pod, the UEFA compliance etc, etc but the choice of new seats was poor, was any proper testing done, i think not. So moving forward im sure that all that people want is for the club to man up and admit they got it wrong, set out a plan / timescale to resolve the issue and then get it done. But burying their heads and hoping there are no accidents resulting in negligence claims against the club is not the way to proceed. As for the WS, im not a member but their silence on the issue speaks volumes of how they see their role in interacting with the club, ie attend the meetings but stay quiet, and dont rock the boat, they should be ashamed. The POD ST renewal figures next May / June should be interesting.
  6. Aye i noticed that as well, which concerns me if hes not actually been released. Maybe its part of the deal or probably more likely that the club and the players agents etc are still w orking out the details.
  7. Ill give you white and Blyth, they were brutal but not Bowman and Main, Stamas league goals mainly penalties. Main and especially Ryan elbows Bowman put themselves about, knew where the goals were and generally read the game well. Stama was never where he should have been, his reading of the game was shocking always reacting and never anticipating so he was never able to make the most of any potential chances. He arrived and was full of promise, scored a few pens but never kicked on, after his 1st child was born he was not interested always injured and generally looked like he never wanted to be in the shire. He was never the standard we needed and never would be, sent back to Sydney on loan and even they did not want him. So releasing him was the only sensible option.
  8. Lets be honest he is brutal and is never going to get any game time going forward, nobody is going to make a bid for him, so it makes sense to cut your losses and agree a deal re his contract to release him and free up a wage, it should have been done at the end of last season.
  9. How do you know they were ST holders, they pay their money the same as you and as such are entitled to their own opinions, if its different from yours, so what. Calling somebody willie Wonka is disgraceful now, aye ok then. Disgraceful behaviour is setting off pyros and going on the pitch, when repeatedly being told not to, so wind your neck in.
  10. If his contract expired May 26, and hes still at the club for us to loan out he must have signed an extension. Surely the player needs to agree to the loan, so he must have said yes, if hes really not happy about it then he needs to move on as he is not going to get regular game time at Fir park.
  11. All anybody needs to know is that the premiership is set up and constituted to suit and pander to the needs of the ugly sisters, the other 10 teams dont matter. Change only happens if they both want it, or teams like Aberdeen vote with them.
  12. My fault i thought JGR was from New Zealand πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
  13. You can smell the shite from a long way off with that one.
  14. Confidence and ability go hand in hand you wont have one without the other, so maybe Vogt is not as good as we hoped he would be. Ive not seen anything from him so far in albeit limited game time to convince me. Otherwise, he never seems to read the game well and be where the action is,. I hope he does come good but at the moment he has the look of a certain Australian team mate about him, and for the sake of clarity its not Priestman or Jonny K
  15. Correct Dave, a lot of valid reasons why the seats were replaced, which nobody has any issues with, but no admittance that the "only option available" while looking good on paper, just meeting the criteria, etc has in reallity been a mistake. They say they would lose around 500 seats in the POD, so lost revenue was obviously a concern for the club but the seats are not fit for purpose, a potential saftey hazzard, so fan saftey should take priority over finances. There was also no indication in the email that the club is looking to resolve the issue, it gave the distinct impression that " we picked the only solution we had, we now know it was an error, but the seats are here to stay" Im not a WS member but for me they have not stepped up to address this issue, which as majority shareholders they should be doing.
  16. It was against Kilmarnock who are brutal, so not a good indicator of Dundee untds abilities, but i agree with you, a home win for me as well.
  17. Aye they were a class above anything we will face in the premiershio this season
  18. I hope we would say no, its never a good idea to sell one of your star assets to a direct rival in the league, especially one of the ugly sisters for their usual shit low ball offer and free development of one of their players. Plus Miovski is brutal.
  19. As the window in most of Europe along with England closes today, unless we are selling to another Scottish team, which is very unlikely the Thursday close should not be a problem.
  20. Depends how good her dribbiling and ball skills are πŸ€”
  21. When he finally goes you will run out of material, that will be a double boost though for the club and the forum members. πŸ˜‚
  22. 1st rule of football if for whatever reason you are not getting 3 points, make sure you get 1, its still 2 points dropped today but given the timescale today, its a point gained, oh and a brilliant debut from Kanga, i think he will turn out to be a brilliant bit of business, coyw
  23. Correct its nonsense, more UEFA interfering to generate cash and give the bigger teams more TV revenue etc. Hearts played 6 games in Europe, CL, EL and scraped into the conference league with 4 defeats and 2 draws and a -12 goal difference ffs, its a joke.
  24. Have a day off ffs, Im glad the team dont take that " we know our level" attitude, our level is whatever we want it to be, play to win every game we take part in and see where we end up. We wont win them all but with the right attitude we can be the best we can be. This has probably been our best ever Euro adventure, 4 great results in Q2 and Q3 and eliminated by a far better team who struggled to break us down until we went down to 10 men in both games. So why not try some positivity for a change instead of your usual negative doom and gloom trolling shite, you might actually enjoy it
