Absolutely. Delighted for Simo. Always thought he deserved a chance with us as manager but it never quite happened. He seems like a very decent character. Hope they can stay up when they come up (as long a Motherwell finish above them).

If you believe the man himself, the reason Campbell parachuted in this mid-season is because he had multiple offers from England and Europe over the summer, but wanted to wait for the right one. Rather than join, say, a Scottish Championship side to get some match fitness at the start of the season, he opted for no game time. I like the guy, but something has gone seriously wrong and if Robbo couldn't help him at St Mirren he is a very long way from returning to form.
