  1. Talking of away allocations. Given today’s ruling effectively banning Rangers fans from Celtic Park in case the Bears get their hands on tickets, can we now inform Celtic they will be getting no tickets for Fir Park unless they can guarantee none will end up with the Green Brigade. Precedent now set. And given their record of damage and pitch invasions, player confrontation who could argue. Wonder how that would play out in our wonderful, unbiased media? Guaranteed the Authorities would step in. Re Falkirk Hibs and others of late, great to see our increased support feeding into away matches. But as you say it has its drawbacks. If ST sales increase substantially I guess MFC will need to look at some system to ensure everybody who wants a ticket gets a fair crack. The implications of being a big team! 😃 A themed thread would at least register what us fans think.

  3. All valid nominations, but I know who I want as MFC manager next season, and it’s none of the above

  4. Do we have to play Jackson’s Browne’s “Stay” after our two home games ? 😀

  5. I always thought Robinson wasted too much time wrestling with 6ft plus defenders he was never going to get the better of. It seemed utterly pointless as he did appear to have a good first touch and a bit of pace to get in behind. Of course, that could have been down to instruction from Kettlewell. So, I would also be interested to see if he had anything to offer in a Jens team before we just send him on his way.

  6. I wonder if Robinson will get a chance next season? I didnt rate him but bear in mind he was playing in a Kettlewell hoofball team. With a good manager maybe there is a player there. We shall see

  7. Agreed, I think the big Norwegian and McGhee could be big players for us next season

  8. I think it is observed. I think the club sells the Bois tickets separately in the one group/area? I think anyway? I know ive bought tickets and asked to sit away from them and it was ok. (Not that I’m anti bois, just anti drum) But if you have a standard ticket, yeah sit where it’s allocated.

  9. If JBA stays, maybe Slattery does too. And surely the club can now afford to offer him a new deal on improved terms to reflect his importance.

  10. This team needs a Slattery. We saw exactly how much it suffered during his recent suspension, and if he leaves, he’ll be a huge loss.

  11. There's probably a combination of reasons, but there's no doubt in my mind that a segment of the voters chose McGlynn over JBA because they wanted to nominate a Scottish manager rather than some upstart foreigner trying to modernise the Scottish game. You don't need to go too far back in the season to find all the criticism doled out at the start of our project. McInnes will win it anyway, and JBA will be on the sportswriters' nominations no doubt.
