    Canterbury

just heard it on reporting scotland who were saying the scotland rugby deal was down the pan ( no mention of us) but its no looking good. Everything makes sense though a guess (no away kit, no more stock, poor quality etc). Shame as I think the kit is cracking. Could be a long season for a lot of teams in scotland this year. Hopefully we get new deal sorted soon, could be looking at the generic nike/addidas deals some clubs are on which might not be a bad thing.
  7. i feel like am missing something here, think the appointment is really disappointing. many better candidates

  11. based in Vlore, actually looks a decent place, sure the weather will be scorching, looks really close to the italian coast on the map
  12. I was just looking up a bit about baku and I was thinking it would be crazy to play there. But then I imagined a baku supporter looking up airdrie on google and thinking... fuck that, there's no way I'm going to that war zone
  13. just checked out Narva (estonia) on google maps, right on the edge of the russian border, miles from tallinn so could still be extremely tricky to get to.
  14. fingers crossed its Llanelli FC, baki or Banants next thursday away would be an awful draw. Looked up the distance of the welsh team as I was trying to work out how many days i'd next to take of work....... still a decent drive Distance: 372.6 miles Time: 7 hr 12 min
  15. i'd favour sanchez over McAlistair, anyone know were to get odds on the next well manager as a fancy putting a few bucks on this!

    Mcghee

hard one but I would'nt have a problem with him still being there next season. As long as it gets sorted in the next week so we have time to prepare for europe. Footballs a fickle game, as long as he commits to another whole season I would'nt have a problem. The only issue I could see if he does'nt move on is there is a possibilty the Scotland job could come up again in October (depending on our results against Norway/Macedonia) which would see Mcghee on the verge of another move and would put the club through this again.
  17. I wasn’t sure at first about Luc Nijholt for manager as I never realised his managerial background (thought we were being like celtic and only linking people who were ex players etc). However, having learned he was assistant to former Holland and Barcelona boss Luis Van Gaal at AZ Alkmaar and is currently assistant at FC red bull Salzburg( managed by Co Adrianse), I certainly think we should try and get him in!
  18. word on the street is its McGhee with Roy Aitken as assistant.................................
  19. sadly, aye think mcgee will be off tae aberdeen, too big an opportunity for him to manage one of his old teams. I remember watchin him bein a guest for the bbc for the aberdeen v copenhagen game last season and you could tell he would have loved to be leadin the dons out for a big european game. European football for them too next season so its a no brainer if he is offered the post. If he goes I dont mind as long as we pump em four times next season! As for a new gaffer I wound'nt want butcher back or believe that leitch or bobby williamson would be the correct move. I think i would like to see either Gary McAllister, Paul Lambert or Colin Calderwood being given the post.
  20. i'd like to see brown back at fri park - think he would be interested seein as he's from Motherwell so could be tempted by two years back at the club. He could do what Stephen Hughes has done and come back to his hometown club to revise career. I think Brown would have been happy to continue sittin on the bench for celtic but that won't be happening next year (Unless boruc departs). I think this year we'll be after the same names as last summer, probably on loans as wages would be too hefty : Simon Lappin, Chris Killen, John Kennedy & Alan Gow (all at relegated norwich this season), maybe even Mark Fotheringham who is a free agent
