  1. Yes, some have. But the pitch looked like that this time last year as well, so most folk know better than to say how good it looks now...
  2. Also worth reiterating, since the only place I've seen it mentioned at all is on the 'fishel site, that he hit it with his 'wrong' foot.
  3. At the end of the day it's against the law to take smoke bombs or flares into Scottish football grounds, so anyone doing so is just asking for trouble either for themselves and/or the club. Unless and until that changes, whether or not it helps to "create a bit of atmosphere" shouldn't even be up for debate.
  4. 2-0! Possibly Sutton, possibly OG...
  5. Blackman should've made it 2-0 there...
  6. I work in IT, I've read their homepage twice and I still don't really know what they do. It seems to have been written by somebody using this.
  7. Nope. He was born in '89, Mark Hateley left Rangers in '95, and he only came back to Scotland for another season at Rangers in '97, and one at Ross County in '99. So Tom would've been at school in Scotland probably 3 years at most, assuming Mark even moved his family to Scotland every time, which I doubt.
  8. There was one right in front of me in the East Stand on Sunday, on the halfway line.
  9. Clarky couldn't lace Wullie P's boots, and however many games Hammell plays, he won't beat Joe Wark's record of only ever picking up one single booking in his entire career (and that, if I recall, was a dubious one in one of his last games).
  10. Young 'uns Steven Lawless, Steven Meechan and Peter Innes have all gone to Albion Rovers on a six month loan. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/index.php?op...&Itemid=134
  11. The quality of the football on display is what makes our league a laughing stock. I seriously doubt that most fans of other leagues outwith the UK, or even outwith Scotland, actually know or care that we have a split.
  12. It's happened a few times, but it would only be ridiculous if every team had played the same number of games against the same opposition, which of course they hadn't. Personally, as long as we have the split, I'd maybe rather they just split the league into two groups proper when the time comes, instead of pretending that everybody's still playing in the same league afterwards. Perhaps even start the bottom team in each group on zero points, with the other teams' points adjusted accordingly. At least that would stop people moaning about the fact that the team in 7th occasionally ends up with more points than the team in 6th (as if that really makes any difference, when everybody knows and understands that it might happen before a ball is even kicked).
  13. Perhaps somebody ought to teach him not to actually cross the ball if there's nobody in the box, but you'd hope he might know that already. A good cross to nobody is a bad cross, just like a good pass to a bad player is a bad pass
  14. It appeared today that the stronger guidelines about booking players running off the pitch to celebrate has been forgotten about since last week, too.
  15. Yep, I'd happily take "can actually hit the target once in a while" over "inventive" at the moment.

Lasley for me too. Thought Craggs had a better game than some folk are giving him credit for though, and might even have scored with a spectacular volley if somebody's heid hadn't got in the way
  17. Well, that and that fact that five times more people than you'll ever get inside Fir Park tend to make at least five times more noise
  18. I was going to say that as well, but we didn't get into the UEFA Cup/Europa League by winning the Scottish Cup, we got into the Cup Winners' Cup
  19. Funnily enough, main thing I find myself reflecting on this morning isn't the fact that we're out, but the unpleasant financial aspects of the UEFA competitions these days, i.e. inevitably making the rich clubs richer, and the poor clubs poorer. A win last night might well have seen us sign a couple of decent players either now or in January, increasing our chances of doing it all again next year, which of course is partly how the other top clubs manage to compete year after year. The loss means we might just about be able to attract some journeyman on loan for the rest of the season for a dogfight to scrape into the top six again. Of course, hypocritically I'd have bitten your hand off for the £1.5m as much as anyone, but it's a pretty depressing cycle, really.
  20. I won't be looking at it at all. No Scottish clubs => not in the least bit interested
  21. I'll be there on Sunday as well, but afraid I can't afford to fly over from Ireland every weekend
