Don’t think anyone should be shouting for the managers head BUT he real has to step up and prove his metal and show that he understands what’s going on To this end IMO he has until the end of October to get it sorted. Last season we had a settled back 3 with Kipri Hartley (Aldred) Dunne, all 4 very physical but with pace of Kipri and especially Dunne getting us out of trouble Yesterday we play back 3 of Aldred McHugh Hartley yip still physical but absolutely no pace and that where we were caught out for the free kick that lead to Accies goal. So we have to revert to a back 4 and decide what 2 out of Aldred McHugh Hartley play at centre half and not revert to playing McHugh in the middle of the park a decision has to be made and he has got to be brave enough to make it. In the middle a ball winner/someone to break up play so it’s either Campbell or Rose or Grimshaw…… a no brainier IMO has to be Campbell …… so why did we give Rose and Grimshaw contract extensions?? Up front it is blindingly obvious that Sammon and Main are not a partnership don’t look like they will ever be one so Johnston (whose looks eager,hungry something to prove anytime he has come on) or young Scott should come in. If he thinks they are canno last 90 mins he could give one 60 mins the bring the other on. Main is so far of the pace at the moment he just does not look fit and I’m no Sammon seem to have more about him at the moment if we stop firing long balls at him. Over to you Mr Robinson your paid to make the decisions but most people sitting in the POD yesterday could see the problems that urgently need to be addressed

Will always get behind the team BUT really have to look at some of the managers decisions Pre season should be used to get players up to match speed …… we play 3 games and change whole team after 45 mins in each !!! League Cup should be used to get settled team and bit of cohesion …… we chop and change all over the place its obvious to anyone watching that Sammon and Main are too similar to each other to be a partnership that works …… we keep trying to persevere with it and thump high balls to them If your going to play a back 3 then 1 of them must have pace …… without Dunne we have no pace Chris Cadden only looks like a player when he has a right back playing behind him It took half a dozen games at the star of last season before Robinson had to play young Campbell don’t think its going to happen with young Turnbull as there’s no way Robinson going to give him a chance despite his excellent games at the end of last season

Agree with everything said Bigi at least tried to play the ball on the deck The number of times he came short looking for the ball from the back 3 only for them to thump it over his head to non existent front 3 was unbelievable

Yip credit where credits due Managers watches utter huff ball for 60 minutes and makes 2 subs and somehow makes the team worse How many do you think will be back to watch football like what was on show today

An awful lot of deficiencies to be remedied before last seasons good will quickly runs out for Mr Robinson. The guys a one trick phoney who’s been found out

Where do you start with that Felt sorry for the ball we seemed determined to hammer into submission 40/50 yard diagonals to strikers who haven’t a clue in the air … then bring another striker on and play him behind the 2 dumplings who’ve been there from the start Robsinson’s subs were bazar to say the least As for Chris Cadden we should take any money coming our way and run don’t know wether it’s our shape or where he’s being asked to play but can’t remember the last time he went past a man and his delivery was atrocious

I’m sure the club are trying to punt Bigi …… problem is you need someone to take him and he’s got year left on his contract but SR obviously ain’t going to play him As for “striker of quality” yea they grow on trees …… could you name one at the price and wages we could afford

At the start of last pre season we played 2 centre half’s one in each half at Stirling … both played well but we did not have budget for both We couldn’t agree money with the more experienced one (who looked the better on the day) and we signed Cedric The other one went back to the French 2nd Div I think Wonder what he’s up to now

IMO a midfield is all about balance If you look at whose played in our midfield 3 to date Cadden, Campbell, Grimshaw, Rose and McHugh (if you class him as a midfielder) are all of similar style/type Strong , make tackles, break up play, run with the ball .....none of them can make a telling pass Bigi and Gorrin can take ball from back 3 and link the play without resorting to 40/50 yard diagonal balls (Gorrin what little we’ve seen of him looks like he can tackle) Yet in our games so far a combination of the top 5 have made up our midfield 3 against Div2 and Championship sides. Gorrin used sparingly and Bigi not at all ......On Saturday when Gorrin came on he was always available to take the ball of the back 3 and actually passed the ball on the deck to a Motherwell player. We really need to get the midfield 3 soreted ..... It was reported that we were chasing Gorrin in the January window get him in during the summer then don’t start him

Any word on Big Bowmans injury ? Saw him after the game on Tuesday and he was limping quite badly

Think we’ve used 19 different players in first 2 games The same underlying problems as last season are still very much in evidence Lack of creativity Lack of guile Lack of pace, Are McGuire, Turnbull and Scott now classed as first team squad members? Youngsters seem to being pushed further down the pecking order. In his 2 starts towards the tail end of last season, David Turnbull for example was excellent wasn’t even in the squad yesterday with McHugh being moved from centre half to midfield

So why not play him ?? Boy is hungry to show what he can offer the 1st team Think we can all agree there was not much creativity in our midfield last season Turnbull sits on the bench for 90 minutes then we go down to Stranraer and McHugh is back in midfield and Turnbull not even on the bench Think this is what Ya Bezzer is getting at re youth development

Or play a youngster find out that he can compete at this level and is a better option than some of so said new signings Alan Campbell was not quoted at start of last season got his chance took it with both hands and kicked on with every game he played

Agree re youth developments Tuesday night 5-0 up at halftime and cruising If ever there was a time to give young Turnbull 45 minutes with no pressure that was it.

The only midfielder with any footballing ability is Bigi and he does not seem to figure in Robinson’s plans

Aye but neither of the 2 centre backs had to come out of the middle to cover for him Know Laing can be a bit irrational but he always has to think that he has to cover for Law As much as Kennedy had a great game on Saturday would like to see him at right back Laing at centre back along with McManus and Grimshaw in the middle with Lasley

He was a 100% better than Law
