Correct, Its in what was/is the memorial garden and Its the disabled fans entrance at the very end of the POD stand you use to access it but no signs up yet . I'm assuming that's something the Well Society will address as it confused a lot of people on Friday.
I notice that too in the WOSL games I take in. With the explosion in gymnasiums and personal trainers and some of the bigger teams being into sports science in a big way the level is definitely improving in the lower leagues.
I would say partly that and partly smaller teams are getting better coached and lower league managers are getting more tactically aware about how to set out their teams to frustrate the big boys.
On that I think most of our corners seemed to be outswingers which gives the defence time to judge the flight of the ball and the goalie doesn't come under the same pressure. The few inswingers seemed to be aimed at the far post for Balmer to make a late run. A few more inswingers right on top of the goalie to see what he's made of on Tuesday please.
Went exactly how I thought it would. A new manager trying to establish a completely new style of play while integrating new players up against a team who put 10 men behind the ball to frustrate . Is anyone REALLY surprised we struggled to break them down exactly as in the previous 2 games. Tell you what though I'd rather watch that style of football than what I've endured for the last 2 seasons.
He wasn't the scource, I was standing next to him talking when I saw the drum incident with my own eyes as did a few others, but hey its ancient history and theres more interesting things to talk about.
Thats what I heard from a usually reliable scource although I think his SM posts said he was looking for pastures anew or a fresh challenge (something like that) so maybe there was something else going on behind the scenes, who knows.
Well Busta I don't know how many away games you go to but it's the same individuals doing the same stuff and I'm pretty sure the club know exactly who they are but seem quite happy to put up with it.
The ball in the crowd yesterday was just good natured fun and personally gave me a good laugh but appreciate others might have found it a bit crass.
More concerning is the clean up bill to remove all the graffiti and stickers the club will get next week, the fine for the pyro display and the apology letter to the security company for one of their young stewards getting punched in the face trying to put out the flare.
I really love the atmosphere the Bois bring to the game and I would hate to not have them there but they just need to reign it in a bit and realise some of their antics cost the club money.
I actually stopped going to away games last season because of all the shit happening and I didn't see anything yesterday that would make me want to change my mind. We have some right cretins in our support and I'm more and more starting to see why Bob Park gave up the ghost and walked.
Exactly what I expected.
Shite football on a shite park in a shite stadium only made worse by getting burnt alive with a 30mins wait in the kiosk queue and the usual wee fannies costing the club another fine by letting off flares amongst other things.
On the positive side we were probably always going to have to beat Morton in the last game to qualify regardless of the result today, assuming we don't massively **** things up against the 2 minnows.
Gordons fine when he's played to his core strengths of defending high balls and clearing his lines, not so sure how he'll cope with playing it out from the back which looks like the way we'll be set up.
