Some in the POD Stand would have been complimentaries (players' relatives and friends).

Theres more than enough room for any players relatives and  sponsors in the boxes in the south stand and thats where they should be housed.

There should be NO away fans in the POD regardless of whether they have bought hospitality or not as it's an accident waiting to happen

  2. Delighted that our new accessible toilet block will be open for 'business' on Saturday!

A lot of time and effort has went into fundraising and planning to allow this to happen and we would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved from the DSA, the club, the fans who have donated £££ and in particular would like to say a massive thank you to Davie from Frasers Plumbing and Heating for seeing this project through from an empty portacabin to what it is today. He has given up so much of his time to help us out and project manage this, while encouraging local businesses to help out too. Thats what  being a true Community Club is all about

  3. i can only go with what I saw  of him when he played against Gretna and he looked pretty good, very strong and powerful, so I'll give the coaching staff their place and respect their judgement on his performances at training and not on where he came from.

  4. I'd bet my last pound that David even at this stage is looking at his phone every 30 seconds to see if another club has come in for him because in his heart of hearts he probably doesn't want to really sign for Celtic being a Well boy to the core.

But when you've got the carrot of  a big wage dangling in front of you and knowing that you're setting up the club you've grown up with financial stability with the transfer fee then its hard to turn it down.

  5. I still have horrible memories of when they were given the RHS of the POD stand directly above the disabled section and having to listen to the disabled fans being called every name under the sun (can't even bring myself to write down some of the words) so you can imagine, being spat on and having drinks thrown on top of you.

Try explaining that to a young guy with learning difficulties who is in a wheelchair who I support at games.

Funny how it never happens with any other teams other than the old firm.

I did notice Burrows on twitter I think it was Saturday night having some debate with a guy who I think was a Celtic fan saying Turnbull will be playing in the EPL in the future and will definitely command a record fee, if hibs can get 3 million for John McGinn then that's the starting point for Turnbull who I believe is a better player as well.

Davie first and foremost is  a 'Well fan so he was always going to make sure that when he leaves the club it would be well recompensed hence why he signed his new deal when he could have easily done a "Hastie"

He also has enough faith in his own ability to know that he will continue improving to the stage that  he will have a choice of clubs to join when the time comes.

A very mature level headed young man who will do whats best for him and Motherwell FC and hopefully go far in the game

I think what has happened is that the linesman has flagged it for the ball being over the bye line.

Didn't look like it to me.

So two wrong decisions have added up to a correct one.

The linesman didn't even raise his flag. Ref gave the penalty then was asked by the Dundee players to go over to the linesman who said the ball was out of play. They spoke with each other for a good 10/15 seconds so how long does it take to say "was the ball out" and "yes"

The linesman was 5 yards up the pitch and the Dundee players body was between him and the ball so not also has he peripheral vision but x ray vision as well. Linesman was getting pelters all day from the disabled section for not being up with play and that was just the icing on the cake. You could tell by the look on his face when we scored the 4th that he knew Turnbull had got him out of jail.

  8. That brought back great memories. Texaco Cup matches,  the days of the old "choir"  standing at the top of the steps and ending up at the bottom of them every time we scored a goal. Happy days!!

Was fortunate to get Gordon Banks' autograph on the match programme as well.

Strong reserve side playing over in Hamilton today, Mbulu, Livingstone, Bigi, McCormack, Taylor-Sinclair and Donnelly all starting.

Good game where we ran out 3-1 winners, Bigi with a cross cum shot that went over the keeper and into the postage stamp Scott with a 20 yard rasper  and McKinstry slotting home a through ball under the keeper. All in all a pretty good game.

Mbulu went off injured early on      Bigi strolled it       McCormack got 75mins under his belt     Donnelly went to CB when Mbulu went off injured and tbf looked pretty decent there.

ATS didnt appear for the 2nd half ??!!

The young CB Hussain looks pretty good on the ball as well.
