Biereth through the middle with Obika and Wilkinson on either wing is what'll happen

Given he has survived the weekend I expect he gets these 3 huge games coming up. The board won’t sack him after we get beat by Celtic so it looks like he gets the run of games after that. Good luck to him but I fear the writing is on the wall. We can’t score goals, and our ball playing midfield and reasonably sturdy defence have gone to shit lately. We are just not very good.

If we do make a change we need to stop this trend of unproven managers with no track records. I love Craigan but his CV is no better than Hammell or Kettlewell's. We don't need an unproven untested manager, nor do we need someone like Yogi Hughes or Kenny Sheils. We need someone with a decent track record. Someone in the Derek McInnes or Stephen Robinson mould.

The chat about the penalty being disallowed for handball seems off to me, when the ref went to the monitor he didn't look at the handball, just the foul over and over again.

I say it every game but O'Donnell is howling. We go from Blaney to Butcher to Casey to O'Donnell who isn't good enough or quick enough to keep the ball and can't handle the pressure so he just floats it down the line to nobody and we give the ball away. Time after time after time. A very likeable guy but for whatever reason is awful these days. We can't keep the ball with him in the team and if we don't keep the ball we don't win football games. As for Wilkinson, what does he actually offer? He's not quick, he's not skillful, he doesn't have a moment of magic in him, for a big guy he can't win headers. Another that is just mince. We have sacrificed three in the middle so we can have two big men playing way out wide. This doesn't increase our attacking presence one bit, if anything it hinders it because Biereth is now isolated. Three in the middle with two up top who are close to each other would serve us far better. As for the two in the middle, Slattery has a bit of fight about him sometimes but that's about it. Someone posted Kettlewell's record earlier as to why he shouldn't be sacked. We are now 8, 9, 10, whatever it is without a win after today, he makes strange choices like this weird front 3 line-up and continually playing O'Donnell, his summer signings have been really awful. I'm grateful he kept us up last year but we are a poor team with no game plan, awful team selections, strange formations, terrible summer signings and without a win in months. His time is up. And while we're at it, can we get an actual manager in and not the under 17s gaffer please

I wonder if Kettlewell’s position is actually in jeopardy if we lose here. You’d have to think it is although you never know. We’ve had some great performances but some absolutely brutal ones of late. Hopefully we get a win tomorrow, but if not, I wonder if the axe is hovering just now.

At least we didn't lose to keep the distance between us and St Johnstone. Some absolutely minging players in our team. Slattery, O'Donnell & Wilkinson are all horrific.

Bair is far far far better, whilst still not being very good. Wilkinson is beyond shite but seems to think he's god's gift.

Two very poor teams with very little difference between them overall. They've scored 2 goals from set pieces to make the difference. Wilkinson, O'Donnell, Spittal & Slattery are all absolutely mince.

Interestingly enough he looked like he offered virtually no goal threat over the past couple of months when Biereth & Wilkinson were unavailable, but he scored against Aberdeen and made a few bursting runs through the middle against St Johnstone. I was surprised at how quick he was with said bursts. He is capable of being a goal threat, but he just isn't offering it enough. He is a better option than Wilkinson so far, though that's not saying much. As for the game, I dunno what we'll line up, but I'd like to see us back to being solid at the back, retain the ball far far better than we did at the weekend, and start two up top. Not a lone striker, not three so that the central guy has no support, two up top. Kettlewell's career hangs in the balance here. Let's hope he can get us right up for this.

There is no way, no fucking way, that Bair & Wilkinson were our two best options on the budget we have. Not a chance. And that's before we talk about Obika. Spencer & Mika have been good, but the those two in particular are so so poor and we could have done far better.
