  1. Who fancies a wee Irish wonder from baraclough? Hopefully so, but I'm too happy to see o'brien go I wish I could find player stats from the game cos I'm certain he didn't make a complete pass. Josh law, for me, would be a really good right back, Thomas should be played more often, does anyone know if he is fast? Cadden should get another chance, I'd possibly use Erwin for his pace compared to Sutton but needs to have more footballing skills
  2. Can't wait long enough for moore to come back, he seems to have the right mentality like Erwin except with a bit more skill than big lee
  3. Exactly right, to be honest I really want to see baraclough throw in some big changes for sunday, see what he's really made of. Possibly entirely change back 4 or maybe a new goalie from u20
  4. Would be interested to see what the difference would be if we played an entire youth team, can guarantee there would be a better attitude on and off the pitch if that's what baracough seems to think is the problem....
  5. So so so disappointed today, can't believe it was that poor. Pretty sure youve all covered the negatives of that dreadful shite and to be honest there's only one positive I could come up with and that is that baraclough actually tried to play the youth by subbing them on during the second half
  6. Friday night, our form is going to turn, sutton and ojamaa with a goal each and the back four don't let in a single goal, they are all under pressure and this is when they will perform
  7. I feel that, in order to see any grand improvements at the club, the board also has to shape up a new plan. They need to stop wasting money on ridiculous things which raise no income (cough cough womens football) and some other things. We really ought to increase our budget towards youth facilities, motherwell has always had a good reputation for being a developing club. Furthermore, how's about we actually make some money off this talent (shaun hutchinson). As for this year, we can only have it two ways, one is that we go out early in all competitions and focus on the league or that we sit on the borderline of seventh or sixth place in the league with nothing to fight for, but maybe a cup final or two. Our players cannot play all the games at the same intensity, it's just not possible.Personally, after many seasons of McCall producing a brilliant league finish, I fancy a shot at the cups before rangers are back and bring some silverware home.
  8. I expect a Bradford city signing,
  9. Just wanted to say on the subject of McCall. What a brilliant manager, and man for that matter. He had the chance to improve his career majorly by going to Sheffield with Murphy but he stayed here with us on probably one of the tightest budgets in Scotland. I really hope for the best for him, I have a feeling that rangers will go for him soon but I only think he'll be leaving here if an English premier club want him, which I believe will be soon. Legend
  10. Best I've seen the 'well play in a long time. It was a shame though that, despite such a great performance, there were only 3 and a half thousand to cheer them on, we should all give a big effort to get up tae Aberdeen midweek

    St Mirren

Sutton simply due to the effort put in. Ainsworth sometimes wasn't running back to defend, nevertheless he was magnificent and is looking like a new Humphrey, if not better! Keeper does appear to be a bit dodgy (had a few flaps at the ball at corners) but it was a clean sheet and that's alll that matters. Anier very clinical
  12. Felt that Hutchy and Carswell were both fantastic yesterday, motm for me. 2 players whose jobs on the park often go unnoticed and they still managed to rise above most other players with their performances
  13. Shame I felt that we didn't really get to have much of a glimpse of the new signing yesterday. He showed good pace and a few silky skills whenever he got the ball but he really was playing in the wrong position yesterday
  14. I'd like to think we have a new right wing in the team by saturday so therefore I'd expect a win for us if we had one. If we have new right wing: Hollis Ramsden McManus Hutchinson Hammell (Right wing) Lasley Vigurs ZFA McFadden Anier Score: 4-0 (McFadden x2, Anier, Lasley)
  15. to be honest, an attack minded player is just what we need right now, our midfielders have no creative flair and if there's someone who we can bring in that will connect the midfield to the forwards by through balls and not just humps up the park then I'm all for him
  16. If we cant sign a player before the end of the window, I think we might just make it into top 6
  17. Our team simply needs someone who is going to make the final pass, we play well on the ground and can control the tempo of the game (most of the time) but we lack that killer instinct and can never make the final through ball to sutton or anier. To me, the only way we can get someone with this awareness and passing skill is on loan. Oh wait, I know who to play there, a certain someone who can play in an AMC position. Someone who is already at the club. Someone who is 2 caps away from the Scottish hall of fame.
  18. It totally depends, of course saturday 3pm is the perfect time which everyone knows and it always used to be at 3pm on Saturday. I really like friday night, WHEN ITS AT HOME, helps me perfectly when coming home from work, however there's nearly no chance that I'll make it to a game away. I sort of don't feel like football on a monday evening so would not be up for it then
  19. Would be very happy with a draw here, like most of you, but I would expect mccall to try and scrape through the first half at 0-0 then maybe have anier brought on with 20 minutes to go and use his pace and the offside trap to scrape through with a 1-0 win
  20. Wouldn't mind if the qualifying process was regionalised, but I would like it if we were put with the scandinavian teams, instead of France, England etc. They're always going to put big teams up against small teams cos thee big teams should be going through and Europe is just meant to be a wee experience for the small teams. We need to cause an upset at Europe to become one of the big teams, for instance, St. Johnstone caused a massive upset through beating rosenborg and were therefore seeded next round, who's to say we couldn't cause an upset? Also, another way to become a big team, is through money. Scotland simply needs more money, and let's face it we aren't going to suddenly get some billionaire owner showing up like what happened at Anzhi Mackachalclaadfad. So I guess upsets it is
  21. Quite upset with the result today, but to be honest the goals that we lost would have never happened on a different day. We were generally tired and the back four have had no rest, yet Aberdeen fans seem to not understand that we play European football aswell as Domestic football, clearly due to the fact that they don't have issues to deal with concerning European football. So, I'm not too worried, 38 game season
  22. I think we should be looking towards coventry for more players, they all need to leave
  23. I'm sorry, I know many wouldn't want him and I know he isnt pacy, but could we bring in McCourt?
  24. I honestly wouldn't mind a bore 0-0 draw. We lack that attacking edge which we had with a pacey right winger and we're coming back from Russia. I don't see them getting past the strong back four. However, could we be the new Ross County, start to snatch late goals in very dull games? Don't know about you but I wouldn't mind that. My predicition for the season is 4th in the league, winners of scottish cup, final of scottish league cup
  25. Well done the well, relatively pleased with that performance, we didn't embarrass ourselves against a team which was a class above. And some young players managed to get some european action and performed very maturely
