That was a tough watch. I was pleasantly surprised by Mugabe, who I thought had his best game for Motherwell tonight. His passing is still awful, but he defended reasonably. Defensively though, we are in trouble. I thought Lamie would be a decent addition to the back line, but so far I have not been impressed. Up front I don't think we can say much about the contribution of Long or White because they saw so little of the ball, the service was poor. I'd like to see Watt get more game time though.

Pretty sure that Robinson doesn't have a clue what his best team is at this point. It feels very much like one big experiment.
-
Seedorf is an empty Jersey.
-
The stream is very poor, as it was at the weekend.
-
Well that is a score that we don't deserve at this point.

Football is a funny game.

Internal server error for me too.
-
And that is why it is always good to ask.

Hi, has anyone received instructions regarding how to access the stream for the game tomorrow? I expected to have them by now. Thanks.

There were some strong performances last night. Campbell played very well, O'Hara was excellent in the middle, Long did a load of running and made things happen for us. I think that between Long and Watt we have a couple of decent forwards that will give many teams problems. There were also a few on the pitch that were not firing on all cylinders, but let's keep this positive. Great to get back to winning ways.

Good performances all round today, but Allan Campbell was immense today.
-
I went for Long due to the hat trick, but Campbell and Gallagher were also very good.
-
Poor defensively from Tait and Hartley, but job done and through to the next round. Well done Chris Long.

Yes, it is an exciting prospect having Turnbull available to join this team.

I was thinking about a possible return for Turnbull and I can't say that I know who would make way for him in the current setup. Not saying that he wouldn't or shouldn't get in, just not at all sure who would drop out.
-
A few to choose from today Polworth, Hartley, Gallagher but I went for Campbell.

Thought that pretty much the whole team did well today. Hartley does read the game well and marshalled the defence excellently. Can't praise the work ethic highly enough. Everyone ran themselves into the ground today. Alan Campbell was everywhere and must be a real nuisance to play against. He is also improving his game coming out with the ball and linking play. James Scott is improving with each game and could be a real asset if his progress continues. I see that opinions are a bit split about Seedorf and Hylton. For me, at this point, Seedorf doesn't work for the team and hides at times. He needs to be braver and look to use pace. Hylton does some good stuff, but never seems to have the ball under control when he is running. His pace and aggression work in his favour though and he does give defenders problems. There is no doubt that when he cuts inside he has power to his shot. Both need to work on their game, but at this level they may go on to do us a right good turn. Just remember how Humphrey improved in his time at For Park. Overall a good three points in what could have been much more difficult than it turned out.

Alan Campbell covered every blade of grass twice today. Hartley also excellent, but I gave it to James Scott who is growing with every game.

A well deserved victory today. Gillespie is proving to be a very adept keeper. His early penalty save may have been crucial to the outcome today. Overall the passing was very slack at times. There were at least 3 times in the first half where simple passes across the midfield area were misplaced and caused us problems. We scored at the right time, just when it looked like Saints were getting the upper hand. The introduction of Cadden and Frear certainly made a difference. Cadden looked really sharp. Great took his goal really well and should have had another. Excited about Cadden, Turnbull and Campbell working together next season.

Tait and Turnbull for me.

Gorrin was excellent, as were many. Special mention to Turnbull, Ariyibi, Main and Aldred.

2018/19 Game 29: Hamilton (H) March 9th 3pm kick-off

The thing is though, the team is winning, and we all know that you don't tinker with a winning formula. Scott can only come in if we lose out on the run in for the top six. Until then he may get minutes towards the end of each game or if Main gets injured. -

The most complete first half of football from Motherwell in a long time. Let's hope it keeps up in the 2nd half. -
Being so late in the game the sending off had absolutely no bearing on the game anyway, but it was a definite red.

An all round solid performance again. Turnbull excellent, Hastie dangerous on the ball, Alfred solid against a very difficult opponent, and a special mention for McHugh who I thought did really well on his time on the pitch. My man of the match though is Curtis Main who once again ran himself into the ground and made it hard for the Hearts back line.
