  1. The last question from that interview was a tad worrying. He's basically admitted that he's not enjoying being Motherwell Manager at the moment. Id say if a decent job offer were to come from down south any time soon he'd be off!

  2. Noone is arguing that Forbes didn't have a great start to the season but if anyone thinks he's still in that sort of form then they're kidding themselves.

He has massive potential but I definately think he has looked a bit lackluster in our last few games to say the least. Hopefully it's only a temporary drop in form and he can return to his best.

  3. Sorry, but that's rubbish. Don't you remember Coke's performance at Celtic Park?

Yes I do it was a decent defensive performance but nothing special. That was also Yass's best game in a Well shirt, but it was still a game that we really should have lost. Celtic just didn't have their shooting boots on.

  4. O'Brien can get to fuck right away. Hes not played well since this aberdeen stuff came about. He knows he's off somewhere else. So get him punted.

It's an absolute disgrace what McGhee has got away with, coming out stating he wants to sign one of our players when he has no right to talk to him until January. It's definately had an adverse effect on his game and ultimately our preformances. Shows a total lack of respect.

  5. Naw it's no. He disnae have a clue what he is doing!

I really hope Gannon comes out and speaks to the official site at least.

It was a terrible performance yesterday and it was pretty evident that Gannon's changes at half time was a big part of that.

It is part of his job to speak to the media, as much as we cant complain too much cause we are still doing well and in the top 6, we have been drawing far too many games and the fans have the right to know what is going on!

What I mean is he know's what he is doing by taking the attention off his own mistakes by highlighting others. I agree with you in that some of his tactics and decisons have cost us, but we can't say that now can we. Hopefully he will learn though. The next few games will be interesting.

  6. Didn't expect to get much of a result yesterday but a few things really disappointed me.

Thought we looked tired and at this stage of the season there's no excuse for that, even with our early start.

As others have said we don't have any dig in the team at all. I'm not asking for players to go about kicking folk but we never won a 50/50 all day.

Tactically I was surpised that for someone with a reputation for identifying the opposition's danger men and stopping them playing Gannon obviously learnt nothing from the game at Fir Park! We just stood off Zemama and let him run things again!

I thought Reynolds had turned into Craigan with his long balls up to Juke and Sutton who were totally dominated by Bamba!

Giles Coke - when he comes up against a better player he hides.

I think the game against Celtic has come at the perfect time for us. The players should at least be well up for it as it on the telly.

  7. Whats worries me more is the huge difference between our first and second half performances. We seem to have players that tire badly, are posted missing or simply stop doing the things that were working for us in the first half. That, and some of Gannon's substitutions,(taking Murphy off today for example) is very frustrating. I can't remember the last time we finished the stronger team, even when the opposition were a man down.

  8. For the equaliser, he was next to Sutton and Lukas for reasons unknown. Out of position far too often.

Exactly, all this nonsense about him being told to attack attack attack and that making him look worse than he is is doing my nut in.

At times you'd look back and he's be nowhere to be seen. He disnae have a fecking clue!

  9. Load of shite,

Some people seem to be willing certain players to make mistakes or fail in some way, just so that they have something to moan about.

And some folk just don't want to accept the fact that some players (in particular Gannon's signings) are pish.

Never mind his crossing ability as a defender he is chronic.

  10. I like him. He does rely on his pace to get him out of trouble at times, but I enjoy watching him going forward. Granted his crossing could do with a bit of work, but he is a danger to opposition teams.

Also, he's not the worst defender in the world. If he was as bad as a couple have folk have made out, we'd be shipping 6 goals a game. If you look at the league table, we're not doing too badly in the goals against section.

The main reason for that should be obvious... John Ruddy!

  11. Well he's clearly not fukin shite if the fukin manager starts him every game...Jim Gannon knows more than any of you and me so leave the lad alone. Were fifth in the league only beaten once for fucks sake..so hes clearly not dayin to much wrong ay!!!!!!!!

Oh dear are we picking on poor wee Yass.

    He's still pish.

  12. so yassin runs amok against gannon's orders but still plays whenever he's fit but...

murphy gives the ball away three times in a row at parkhead and he's subbed

o'brien chops down a hibs player which leads to a goal and he's subbed

craigan plays three bad balls in perth which gets him the big hook

if there was anybody in this team breaking orders their number would be straight up

Yassin is our only recognised right back and the players who may have replaced him have been injured or are being used elsewhere. Maybe that, and the fact that Gannon signed him, has meant he is less likely to get the hook than the others.

  13. He's sooo fecking frustrating! But at the end of the day he's easily the weekest link in our defence, that says it all really. For all his pace his final product is, nine times out of ten, shocking.

I don't think he has been instructed to come inside or to push forward by Gannon at all, I just think all he knows is how to attack and has a terrible positional sense defensively. Aberdeen were down to ten men and we still got caught two v 1 on his side at times today. I'd rather have humphries going forward on that side and a solid right back any day of the week.

  14. I thought we looked comfortable at the back and they scored with their only two shots on target.

It was a stonewall penalty. All of Forbes pens have been savable this season and the Keeper (easily MOM) got to it easily. Thought Forbes was poor again today.

Putting someone on the posts at corners would have stopped the first goal and I thought Fraser might have got down to it. Thought he could have cut out the cross for the second too as it looked like it was headed in well inside the 6 yard box. Difficult to tell though.

Was definately a game there for the winning. We just didn't stretch the play enough when they went down to ten men which was frustrating because we had the players on the pitch do it.
