I thought we were very good yesterday and could have upped a gear at any time. it did become a bit like a training match toward the end. I was Law's biggest critic this season but i thought he has come onto a game and was excellent yesterday. McDonald looks like a different man to the one that started the season, he ran himself into the ground and its great to see. COYW!!!!!!

iv said it before, the reserve league should be brought back as it would develop the youngsters rather than hinder them. they would be playing against better oppostion than they do currently. ive been to a fair few u20's games (im going tonight as its the well v accies derby at NDP) and most of the players wont make it at the top level as they arent good enough. only thomas and watt stand out for us at u20 level imo, the others just dont jump out as being anywhere near ready for first team footy (although neither do some of our first team)

what an excellent summing up of how I also feel. I too feel that fan ownership can also be as big a disaster as a crazy south american. Just because we are well fans doesnt mean we can run a footy club, the massive loss even with the society has cemented this thought in my head. What happens for example if we take ownership, the team get relegated, the fans lose interest and dont want to keep paying more and even 500 pull out, we are then up shit creek without even a boat. I still maintain that we dont have a big enough fan base for this.

for me the main thing is that some of our players arent very good. I cant believe some folk think josh law is worth a starting place in our team. Joe chalmers is woeful. If you look back at most of the goals we have conceded this season, its down the wings that our problems arise, mostly law's side to be honest. I reckon between, laing, kennedy and mick we can put out 2 spl level central defenders but our fullbacks are shite, even when hammy is back even he is clearly not fit and a tad overweight. we have good players who shld be able to hold their own against most spl teams but a few tweeks are needed. in an IDEAL world id do this:- RIPLEY - stay SAMSON - stay WEE DAN - let go Reid - let go law - let go watt - stay kennedy - stay mcmanus - stay laing - stay chalmers - let go hammell - not sure if im honest grimshaw - stay lasley - not sure pearson - stay ainsworth - stay marvin - get your finger oot but stay Taylor - leave immediately!!!!!! Thomas - stay mcdonald - he has been shite but stay moult - stay robinson - let go Fletcher - stay Clarkson - let go With the wages saved see what MM can do and get 2 or 3 in. As i said i reckon we have a few good players who can play and win at thus level.

imo Law gives 100% every time he pulls on a motherwell top BUT its plain to see that he isnt very good. i have been vocal in my dislike of his general play, he has zero positional sense, is always far too far off the opositions winger when a cross is whipped in and if u look back at all the highlights of the games this season alot of the oppostions goals have come from his side. As for Chalmers, he doesnt look comfortable at all and appears to be nervous evertime he goes on the park. If any Motherwell fan is happy with either of these guys in our first team then it says a lot about standards which are now accepted.

I have wondered why the south stand gets opened for teams who bring a really poor support, st johnstone, ross county, ict, etc, it must cost quite a lot of money for stewards, food kiosks and other general stuff. These teams could easily be accomodated in the Pod stand.

Im not sure if anyone is as annoyed as me about the coverage of our game versus Killie on bbc sportscene, 21secs of footage, 11secs of which was game time, that is utterly disgraceful. apart from an overated celtic, a pish aberdeen and a championship team, the media do not give a shit about the rest of us, its a total spunk fest over these teams and ignore the rest no wonder our game struggles, our media is pathetic.

because they dont just sing songs do they, thats a very naive thing to say, they also wreck stadiums, chant and display things that have no place in a civilised society in 2015, attack people and politicise football for their own means and yet a section of our OWN fans thought it would be a great idea to do a joint protest. dear oh dear. im glad the majority on here think it was a stupid idea. maybe the bill isnt what it should be but i still stand by my post of "dont act like a dick and you wont get ejected or get the jail"

for me, kennedy, grimshaw, pearson and ainsworth must START. Law and Johnson must NOT. RIPLEY KENNEDY. LAING. MCMANUS. CHALMERS. AINSWORTH. GRIMSHAW. PEARSON. THOMAS MCDONALD FLETCHER just my opinion, we are in dire need of a right back, how law keeps getting a game is beyond me and johnson needs to take a long hard look at himself (unless he is injured)

the 3rd option of arrested but released without charge is a void option as it cant happen in scotland, if your arrested then you are charged, its only in england that you are arrested on suspicion but can after investigation be released without charge.

Is the legislation crap - yes but your exagirating by saying anyone can be arrested for anything. could the stewards do better -yes, there are arses who are stewards but there are arses in every profession, i genuinly saw a steward jailed at parkhead a few years ago for acting like a dick and pushing a fan about. Unfortunately I also feel the fans could do better by simply following the rules. The stewards/police dont just have the Bois and the minority intent on causing trouble to worry about, they have the safety of everyone to worry about and by bringing smoke bombs/flares, invading the pitch, throwing items, fighting before and after games etc I believe they have no option but to treat certain factions with a robust style as the actions of the minority can have severe implication on the majority. So I say again just support the team, bang the drum, shout, sing but stay within the rules and EVERYONE can enjoy the game.

i still maintain if you dont act like a dick and smuggle flares/smoke bombs, run onto the park, fight before or after games, shout and swear etc then the big bad stewards wont pick on you. Funny how MOST of our and other teams fans have little or no negative interaction with stewards/police at all yet the same bunches of fans are always moaning that they get picked on. Just support the team. Someone on here will probably slag me off in a mature way just like the "ya toilet brush" comment above but the fact remains its mostly warranted attention that the small section of the Well Bois/Green Brigade or other small sections of other teams fans get.

I have no idea why items were thrown on the park disrupting the game, actions like these are risking more fines. The bois are simply playing into the hands of the stewards and polis who now have even more ammo to search them after daft actions like this. If your gonna do stuff like that then please stop moaning about the stewards and polis havin it in for you.

Well here are my thoughts for what they are worth. Kennedy was tremendous for us today except for the 2 stonewallers which should have been given

WTF has happened to Marvin Jonhson since last season. he looks like a beaten man

we are sitting way too deep and inviting celtic onto us, we have lost another goal down our right hand side and the players once again cant seem to pass a ball 5 yards to a well player. johnson and law have been chronic in this first half and celtic havent come out of 1st gear, they are running rings round us. I think during the week in training MM should show these players a football as it appears some may never have observed one in their life. Lets get fu#*ing intae them!!!!!!!!!!
