IMO Motherwell FC is not going to be fan owned, the way the society have gone about their business from day one has been amateurish at best and I have not one single bit of confidence in giving them even £10 per month as I feel they do not have a clue what to do in the best interest of the club.

my assesment of yesterday was:- Ripley is a gd keeper. Chalmers looked good at left back, mick and kennedy were solid, law gives me the fear. Lasley dug in, leitch played not too bad at all, ainsworth didnt have his best game, Dom was the best player on the park by a mile although did waste a few final balls. Skippy was really really poor and should have been taken off, his form has been rank. Moult ran about and was ok. There is something missing and I cant put my finger on it, we are making hard work of every game we play, I hope the manager knows whats missing or its going to be a long hard season. i did note however that killie are utterly piss poor and im sure locke will be given the boot soon.

good to see some folk on here are upbeat about their team........oh wait no they arent. Jesus christ prophets of doom or what. as i said in another thread, so far this season we beat caley, didnt deserve to lose against utd and hearts were simply better. we have looked much better than the shambles of last season. Lets hope the players are up for this one as I for one dont think aberdeen cant be beaten although are probably the best of the rest. 1-1 draw for me on this one and then Motherwell's season starts against those who will be around us. COYW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goalies make mistakes. Ruddy and Randolph made a fair few also. we beat caley, didnt deserve to lose against utd and hearts simply played better, end of story, like it or not. we hve 3 points and have looked decidedly better than last years shambles. Lets hope the players are up for saturday but again lets not forget we are playing the team that romped 2nd place although who i personally think arent as good as the media portray.

having seen a fair few u20 games last season i can say that dom thomas is the pick of the bunch by a country mile.

Hearts look good going forward but utter garbage at the back. If we get our shooting boots on then I think we can win this one with a bit to spare. Hoping the worst we get is a draw.

laing was the best player on the park by a country mile, i thought he looked solid. the big keeper also looked fantastic. marvin looked to be blowing out his arse by 55mins. lasley worked his socks off and put some great tackles in. the only downside that i saw from today was josh law, anybody that says he played well should have a look at themselves. BUT that ref had a total mare, i thought until leitch picked up the first booking that he had forgotten his cards as utd should have had about 3 booked by half time. Overall in not too downhearted about today as we played some nice stuff and didnt deserve to lose but there is room for improvement which i hope will come soon.

Christ I hope we win this and get off to a flying start. so based on nothing but pure hope and what i saw in pre season 2-0 to the mighty Motherwell FC, COYW!!!!!!!!!!

without sounding like a dick, i wouldnt actually mind samson. ive spoken with a few killie supporting mates who all have nothing but good things to say about him and they watch him every week.

i thought we played ok in the first half with some nice one touch stuff. nobody should worry about todays result, it was 2 totally different sides that finished the match, we made 7 subs for god sake so all the panic merchants should please calm down. the new big centre half looks like a man mountain although i thought he was maybe trying too hard and thus making an arse of things. I would also have to say the park was awful, grass was far too long and needed a heavy watering as the ball had all the pace taken off it as soon as it was on the ground.

if im honest i will take a league finish anywhere from 1st to 10th. i feel some fans maybe getting carried away with all the signings with more to come. we know little about the new guys and we can only hope they gel straight away but if not it may be a slow start. for me a goalie and a centre mid are musts. im looking forward to seeing the team play and this should be the time barra is judged as it will be his side without the panic buys.

ANOTHER former player, jesus christ what is it with us and signing former players. I do think he can do a job as he is a decent player and at the end of the day he plays for the mighty well so lets get behind him and all the players COYW!!!!!!!!!

as ive said on here before, we cannot judge IB on his january signings and must have faith that he can rebuild a team. He was FORCED to sign players that I believe he would not have signed due to the fact he had to get players in as he inherited a shambles of a squad that were totally off the boil and unfit. Time will tell but I for one am excited about this summer and think we will get some half decent players in, a massive wedge of wage money has been freed up so i expect at least 8 signings.

i personally would love to see marvin stay BUT how could we turn down anything between £500,000 and £1m given the fact we signed him for approx £30,000 only a few months ago. Players always come and go and it would be terrific business by Motherwell if we can turn this type of quick profit.

i remember after a tackle on stevie fulton i think he ended up against the advertising boards at tyncastle and he took a draw of a cigarette off a well fan before playing on..........brilliant

I wish lee hadn't pushed moshni as the incident has totally taken away from the fact that we battered rangers and have stayed in the prem. I'm gutted that all the media talk is about the fight and not the game.

dont watch on sunday either!!!!
