  1. Is it confirmed Vigurs was out because he was injured? Baraclough didn't mention him in the list of players who were unavailable in his pre-match press conference.

    Lee Hollis

I'm in no way a Hollis fan but the reason he didn't start today was because he literally only started full goalkeeping training yesterday after only running on a treadmill over the summer. This according to Neil Alexander at half time.
  3. For what it's worth, he also does door to door sales for Sky TV.
  4. I've had hospitality at Tynecastle and there was drink available at half time.
  5. I admit it's a very limited way to judge a player's character but some of the guff they young boys come out with on their Twitter is cringe worthy.
  6. McFadden looked a lot more confident in the 2nd half having been given more forward role. I've seen him play worse this season. Still rather take the 3 points over a good performance. Wins will boost our confidence which should improve the performances.
  7. Cannot for the life of me understand how anyone could have any doubts over that penalty decision. Complete stonewaller. Take a look at Keith's reaction. Never seen him as angry as that before. It tells you it was a shocking decision. Anyone trying to give Brines the benefit of the doubt there must be related to the guy or something.
  8. The only thing that annoys me about Hutchison is that I can hardly remember the last European game where he didn't lunge in and give away a silly free kick in a dangerous position. Despite that, I firmly believe he will go very far in the game. Much further than the last young centre half we sold!
  9. And to make it even worse for them they've to travel Kazakhstan!
  10. Totally bemused at the amount of people gutted that we didn't sign this player who simply wasn't good enough.
  11. I don't doubt that he is doing what HE thinks is best for MFC. But I like many others don't think he IS doing what is best for MFC. He should be giving MFC the best possible chance to progress tomorrow (even if it is slim) and playing his strongest team.
  12. I'm also not confident of our chances in this one. Purely based on our tiredness from Europe coupled with the strength of their signings (including the manager). 5/4 on Aberdeen (draw no bet) is tempting.
  13. I hope for the sake of your argument that we don't take a 1-0 lead in the 2nd half and don't have the likes of Faddy to throw on and clinch an equaliser and we fizzle out with the glorious failure tag. Oh how you'd wish Faddy was there.
  14. It's far from likely right now but the advantages to our club progressing through this round are huge. But while there is still a slight chance then I'd much rather he put his all into winning this tie and if it means we slip up against Aberdeen, then we make up the ground within the remaining 36 games.
  15. Do you trust he is doing his best to win this game tomorrow? I don't.
