  1. Dominant performance yesterday. It's difficult to not look forward to a game on a Saturday now such is the change from last season. Not just in terms of better players on the park but also in terms of organisation attitudes character etc. Let's be honest here we were a pushover last season, in most cases beaten before a ball was kicked. It's refreshing to see a positive change and for that the manager and his staff deserve credit. Now before all the gloomists jump on my post, by no means am I expecting a top six season and a cup win, and appreciate the season has only just begun. However if we continue to apply ourselves the way we have so far then I would like to think we will be challenging for a top six place and the season could be considered a success by its conclusion. There's been plenty to moan about for a year or two, deservedly so, both on and off the park but I can see things moving in a right direction on both aspects
  2. And continues to build his centre midfield around Steven smith who is no longer a competent spfl player at left back never mind in midfield. Any team that relies on Dom Thomas for creativity is relegation material
  3. Just highlights the lengths agents will go to line their own pockets even to the detriment of their clients development
  4. Lee Clark is some manager - used 25 players in their first four games
  5. Have you seen either? For what it's worth I have seen Hartley and he was a decent player a couple of years ago, dunno about now. I have no knowledge of Aldred.
  6. He most certainly was last time I seen him for hibs
  7. I know it is but can't be arsed working it out
  8. Another very good point made above regarding the limitations of competnsation or development fees. A player could be frozen out of football, or forced to sign a new contract to get them beyond 23 against their wishes, to move from their club.
  9. We don't know we will get 600k that's for sure. As weeyin suggests it's based on a formula which includes a number of factors namely how many years at the club and what club he moves to. If he moves to a club like Leeds, like Lee Erwin did, then we know roughly what the combo would be e.g. Just over £500k. Any leagues below that then we won't get near that value I'm afraid.
  10. It's only £600k if he ends up in the English premiership or chamipionship as far as I'm aware. Anywhere else and it could be a good bit less.
  11. Not always. It can be picked up as percentage of next sale or on profit of next sale. It can be negotiated
  12. I've been his harshest critic in the past but he's had a very good start to the season for sure. Would be a shame to break up a partnership that appears to be growing well. I still have my doubts that he has the abilities to make it in the English championship however
  13. Rose will be playing ahead of Campbell and bigi to defend set pieces
  14. We switched to 3 5 2 to match county cadden and tait as wing backs
  15. The officials also missed the 2nd half golden goal. Incompetent cunts
  16. I'm not jumping on the dunne is shite bandwagon. Seems many have made their mind up already. For what it's worth I thought he had a decent game yesterday
  17. It's a business we are dealing with, not the BB's
