    Craig Moore

Motherwell forward Craig Moore faces lengthy lay-off Motherwell forward Craig Moore could be out for the rest of 2014 after rupturing his cruciate ligament. The 19-year-old limped off in the final moments of Wednesday's 2-1 win over Inverness, having twisted his right knee late in the game. Moore told the Motherwell website he was "absolutely devastated" but was "determined to come back bigger and better". The Steelmen finish their season with a trip to Aberdeen on Sunday. The injury for Moore followed a challenge by Gary Warren and Well manager Stuart McCall said: "It looked to be such an innocuous fall, it's such a blow to learn it is so serious. "That being said, with the type of kid Craig is, I am sure he will meet it head on and get himself back better than ever."
  2. Aye we should just sack McCall he's pish and big John is sitting on 22 for the season is not good enough. Away and enjoy what we have done, another 3 points and going into the last game of the season with a chance of second place. Cheer up steelboy it might never happen FFS
  3. It's live on BT Sports 12.30 so should be able to get a stream on the day

    Aberdeen Travel

Just took this off the BT website if it helps anybody SCOTTISH PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE Wednesday May 7: St Johnstone v Celtic - 7.45pm Saturday May 10: TBC v TBC - 7.45pm Sunday May 11: Aberdeen v Motherwell - 12.15pm
  5. My mate was going to the game today and has just phoned HIBS to find out if he can get into the game as he comes from Drumchapel........he asked the lady on the phone if this was the right kind of drum 1-5 to the good guys Mon the Well.
  6. Na..........I won't be on here later when they appear with the "I told you so" stuff along with the "McCall hasn't got a clue and needs to go" Blah Blah Blah if the result goes against us. A wee surprise would be nice but as before would take a point if it was offered now. Looking forward to the game and having a few cold beers
  7. Welcome Craig, a bit of a shocker but a much needed body at this time. Nice to see the club working as hard. Lets hope you start with a good performance tonight.
  8. With the injuries a point would be remarkable and I would take it all day long right now. I have a horrible feeling that the boo boys will just be waiting to jump all over this before the game is even finished. It feels so wrong that I'm on the defensive before a ball is kicked but for a team that is third and been doing so well some of our fans give me the boak! Mon boys 1-1 and back to a heroes welcome
  9. Take a point from this one and be happy to keep everything ticking over. 3 points would be a great result as Utd are no mugs. Also think Lasley will be key for this game but maybe as some have said Lawson might just grab his chance to show what he is made of. Mon the Well
  10. Would take a point today to be honest, but the greedy monster in me wants 3 points and a few goals. I think it will be a tough one. 2-1 for the good guys
  11. Inverness have no chance. It's just the start of silly season again, why would Ainsworth catch a falling knife? He will still be here for the second half of the season. Keep Calm and don't read the papers
  12. I doubt very much anybody would say no to this. Bring it back and get a bit more atmosphere in the grounds, the problem I see with it is what would the Green Mob have to rip out if we done it in the south?
  13. Just out of interest do we not have 3 others on 6 month loans.........Stephen McManus, Henri Anier and Lionel Ainsworth. With the loss of revenue today what happens to them?
  14. YES! Brilliant! nothing to play for and a team that seams not to give a fuck. Can't wait for the next 6 months............
  15. Shocker. Take a day or two and have a look at the long term for the club. This is not good, December and we have feck all to play for...................
  16. Sad day if we can't beat part timers with a changed team but with Sutton on we should be able to turn it around quickly. Mon the Well
  17. Should be open all mics Gazzy no danger of getting a link up for the game live so I will watching the shout box. All updates welcome 5 or 6-0 to the Well, we will just be too much for the Rovers.
  18. I'll try again. Disappointed in the fact that again we will be looking at losing a very good player who will go on to play at a higher level without the chance to put some cash back into the club. I understand that he needs to look after himself and his family absolutely no dispute with that at all. If he knew that he would be moving I would rather players just put in a request to go and the club got a bit of cash for them. End of. The "fuck him" part comes from the fact we now have another player that we know won't be here next year and a window in Jan to try and see if we can bring in a suitable player. I don't begrudge anybody in any walk of life from making any choice that suits them best, but I do want whats best for Motherwell FC and on this occasion him going for peanuts or a free transfer is not whats best for the club.
  19. Disappointed most of all in Hutchy. I understand that he wants to play at a higher level blah blah blah. Best of luck to him, also fuck him. Punt him in Jan for what we can get if anything and move on. I do feel as a club we should be trying with a year on a contract to sort it out if we know a player has the talent like the above mentioned, again tho if we have offered and he has said no then get him on the next bus out.
  20. Like most on here I would take a point but a win would always be welcome. I think the team are getting a hard time from most at the moment and I personally feel it's not warranted. We will be missing some players and with our size of squad that is always going to hurt, so if we do get beat please lets not let this thread turn into page upon page of negative pish that we are doomed and the manger should be sacked and the players are not trying BLAH BLAH BLAH Behind the team 100% Mon the Well
  21. Hope we win and shut the media/Aberdeen fans up, I hope we get a good reaction after what sounds like a dire game on Sunday. But..... If we don't win it will be very disappointing but at the end of the day we are Motherwell and we will dust ourselves off and get on with it. So lets not piss our pants that our full season depends on this one game and build it up into something it's not. 100% behind the team and the rest of the staff win or lose. 2-1 for us and we will finish the game with 10 men. MON THE WELL
  22. FFS don't say McManus to score first! Would take a draw today as they are very good up front but on the other hand if our forwards are up for it we will rip them a new one. Best form of defence is attack 3-1 the well Faddy to hit a bit of form Mon the Well
  23. Taking the tory agenda out of this, you can get a beer at any game as long as you have a tie on and pay 40 quid plus for a ticket and you sit on a padded seat. It's all wrong that because you dress up and are part of a club you can have a pint but if you are the average punter you can't be trusted. Double standards and stupid bring back the booze and let the clubs make some cash. Mind you if a Mars bar is 1.20 imagine what a pint would cost
  24. With you Melvin, we don't need him but a good solid player that I was sad to see go. I am sure he will get a team unlike some who left the mighty Well but I just hope it isn't a team who play against us! Whats the odds of him getting sent off in his first game
