  1. I wonder if offering Scott Fox a contract would mean that Kelly is not coming back. Hope to god that Hastie is not the one or two loans they are talking about. I was hoping it was Kelly and Roberts
  2. Don't sit on the fence bud tell us how you really feel..
  3. I really don't think so, never seen him display any leadership on the park. Don't know what he is like in the dressing room so cant comment about that. GA wants certain players brought in with the right 'character' and I expect one of them will be a captain of his choosing, someone he brought in he can trust on the park.
  4. absolutely no way is Johnstone going anywhere unless he is sold. He is only 16 and has loads of time to improve. Great prospect but I think GA will call time on quite a few of the youngsters, just rumour mill but we will see in the coming few weeks and a picture on Devante Cole twitter clearing out his locker at the club (hopefully not a sign he has gone forever).
  5. If GA keeps Lawless it will dent my confidence in the new manager as he is absolutely gash
  6. your complaining about County not getting an advantage....?? Have a look at yourself
  7. wtf is it with Lawless with set plays that he has to fire it as far to the back post as possible. Thats 3 so far and each time not a Motherwell Player can get anywhere near them
  8. You see it in almost every game. Referee does not need to blow for every single foul. They can play on and go back and deal with the offender.
  9. eh naw its no, ref can play on until the game stops.
  10. Our complete midfield should be replaced for next year. Every one of them is too easily beaten in the tackle.
  11. Hastie was absolutely woeful again tonight, please send back to Rangers at the end of the season.
  12. I think a carrier bag blowing about the Fir park pitch has more presence and has more chance of finding the net than Hastie
  13. I always thought Alexander would utilise his own scouts, surprised that Foyle is still here tbh
  14. The headline says that but Alexanders quotes in the article doesn't. 'We spoke to him quite a while ago about a contract and it's still ongoing' is a bit of a leap to being close to agreeing a deal it doesn't even say he was offered a deal only discussed it. Would be good if he did stay but like Long I think he only signed back up last season because he had nothing else.
  15. Its interesting that we have not actually offered Cole a deal yet but Mugabi, Crawford and O'Donnell have all been offered new contracts and signed on. Same with Gallagher although to be fair I think the club maybe think its a foregone conclusion he is leaving anyway. I don't think Foley will be offered a contract on the basis of what the manager said previously about wanting players to be able to cope with 40-50 games a season. I am still firmly in the belief we will see around 25 plus leaving at the end of the season between the First team and youth players.
  16. I think the manager or maybe someone on here had previously mentioned he wasnt that bothered about cutting out crosses as he felt the central defenders could cope with it
  17. From Twitter it appears Declan Gallagher is having signing talks with the dons. Not fussed.
  18. I just don't see it on the park. Maybe I am old but I expect the team captain to be an overt leader on the park getting the guys motivated and kicking ass for those under performing a lot like hartley did. In all the games i have watched this season I have never seen him provide that leadership, if anything the goalkeeper has done more in that respect.
  19. I honestly wonder how many will be gone from the first team - Fox, Chapman, Kelly, Grimmy, McGinley, Dunne, Gallagher, Nolan, Magloire, Campbell, Polworth, Foley, Long, Hastie, Seedorf, Robinson, Smith, Cole and Roberts. In bold is who I would like to stay or bring in but potentially 19 that can be removed from the squad. I think one or two maybe have another year but thats a lot of players potentially leaving
  20. When Rangers were plying their trade in the lower leagues I think the whole country was happy without a bigot fest 4 times a season and the TV revenue did not tail off from what I remember. Everyone got used to it very quickly and I think everyone benefitted apart from the Old Firm. I don't buy into the reduced TV deal because of the Old Firm not playing 4 times a season and even if it was I think the whole country and its football would benefit in the long run. What did we do before TV hmmm....
  21. I was wondering why our club were not named in the founding clubs?
  22. Well Well

    Big Dec

I see absolutely nothing in his play or manner that shows even the slightest bit of leadership on or off the park. Also during this season no one has came forward and grabbed the team by the scruff of the neck and rallied those around them, virtually every player has been waiting for someone else to do it. I have a feeling that GA will bring someone new into the club who he can trust to take on this role. Our last two captains have certainly not filled the role with any confidence if anything both went backwards
  23. Don't think so with Watt he is getting about on crutches
  24. Sorry but we never deserved to win that at all, travesty for Morton. If you can't muster effort for a cup tie you don't deserve to call yourself a professional footballer.
  25. only posting what has been widely reported, wind yer neck back in.
