  1. Good goal against Dundee United though tbf
  2. I have the fear about this. Without wanting to play "Kilmarnock cliché bingo" they're exactly the sort of disciplined outfit that have caused us problems. Can see us losing an early goal and Killie holding us at an arm's length pretty comfortably. If we do score first though and Killie have to go for it it could end up being a pretty entertaining game between the two best provincial sides in the country. 0-2
  3. We seem to sign at least one of these guys a year, who see once or twice before they disappear off the face of the earth. Don't want to speculate on the guy's situation because I know nothing about him but it seems to just be one of the risks you take in the transfer market nowadays.
  4. To be fair I do think Carroll was brought in to rectify this. I don't think Tait has started a game at left back this season unless Carroll has been suspended or injured.
  5. Aye I'd agree with this. Equally though, Seedorf and Cole etc should be able to benefit from a lot more space to get in behind than the last 3 games where teams have sat in against us.
  6. If we win this I think we can afford to start getting properly carried away.
  7. They'll get to us in time I'm sure. They're still working their way through Govan based face painters and florists right now.
  8. I've not watched Scotland since yesterday
  9. Devlin's probably due an injury tbf
  10. I'll bite and ask who. I suspect they've got something in common unrelated to football.
  11. Rugby is a sport designed specifically for philanderers and upper class sexual deviants. I'm glad we aren't taking any moral cues from them.
  12. I agree that Gallagher's been better than Findlay so far, but there's probably not much in it. Even if Gallagher is a slightly better option, I don't really hold it against Clarke for picking somebody he knows well and has worked with before, and is younger with less baggage, particularly as neither of them are likely to be anything more than 4th or 5th choice centre backs.
  13. He was out of contract and free to talk to other clubs without bids being made. Other than that and not reading the headline or first paragraph you're spot on though.
  14. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/david-turnbull-reveals-turned-down-13941209.amp
  15. Ah fair enough. Glad there's a good story behind it.
  16. I meant why do you call him Tom instead of Tommy Not having a go like, I've just literally never seen anyone else refer to him as that.
  17. Where does the Tom Wright patter come from?
  18. He was out of contract and knocked back Premiership teams and bigger Scottish ones to stay here.
  19. I must have missed that happening in January.
  20. I'm not blaming him. It'd be weird if footballers cared enough about Motherwell to prioritise us over their career. If he thinks playing English Championship reserve football is better for him than Motherwell then he's absolutely right to do so. Turnbull knocking back Premiership teams in January because he wanted to stay here was a pretty one in a million thing.
  21. I have nothing against the boy but I don't think it's that mental to suggest a "true Motherwell fan" would have chose to play for Motherwell rather than Leeds United u23s.
