I think in Turnbull's case he'd pretty much proven himself at this level and was ready to test himself, but I think Scott would definitely benefit from getting 50 odd games under his belt at Motherwell before making his big move.
Yeah. If we feel the need to shut up shop in certain games I think dropping either winger and putting O'Hara in as a more disciplined wide midfielder who can drop centrally instead of bombing on makes more sense than dropping Polworth.
Are we accusing the guy with a history of bullying allegations and giving/recieving black eyes in the dressings room of not being harsh enough on the players now?
I'd honestly take Frear right now. A winger who could at least occasionally beat his man and put a cross in would be a welcome upgrade on the current three.
I think Carson's a better goalie, but dropping a keeper after 5 clean sheets out of 6 would be ridiculously harsh. If a striker had scored a goal a game five games in a row then missed a few sitters in another we wouldn't be wanting him hunted.
Don't really have much fear here. Not that I think we'll necessarily get a result but I doubt we'll get battered. Probably 2-1 Celtic but a low scoring game either way wouldn't really surprise me either.
Amazes me that folk are still trying to second guess Turnbull after the 6 u-turns and month long transfer saga
Just give up and enjoy the ride by this point.
