  1. Aye Carroll's hopefully solved left back for the next few seasons at least but a right back has to be the priority in January or Summer.
  2. Aye probably. There is a lot of dross at the bottom end of that league though, I could see him sticking around as 5th choice.
  3. I think the most respectful way to remember the war dead is to bring them up unprompted as a stick to beat hypothetical Celtic fans with.
  4. Hibs sacking Heckingbottom might have some interesting butterfly effects on us. I don't think Hibs will be in for Robinson because their weird delusions of grandeur wouldn't tolerate his style of play. They'll probably be shopping in the exact same market as Hearts though, and I reckon they'll both feel a bit of pressure from the fans to get the better candidate. I get the impression Hearts fans aren't overly enamored with Robinson already but if Hibs manage to appoint a name I could see Budge and co pushing the boat out a bit more for someone with pedigree.
  5. Didn't realise Alex Neil had Preston top of the Championship. Moult's been injured since August but would be interesting to see him in the Premiership if they make it.
  6. Thought Gillespie had his best game for a while, possibly this season.
  7. Are we not allowed to predict losses now?
  8. Good goal against Dundee United though tbf
  9. I have the fear about this. Without wanting to play "Kilmarnock cliché bingo" they're exactly the sort of disciplined outfit that have caused us problems. Can see us losing an early goal and Killie holding us at an arm's length pretty comfortably. If we do score first though and Killie have to go for it it could end up being a pretty entertaining game between the two best provincial sides in the country. 0-2
  10. We seem to sign at least one of these guys a year, who see once or twice before they disappear off the face of the earth. Don't want to speculate on the guy's situation because I know nothing about him but it seems to just be one of the risks you take in the transfer market nowadays.
  11. To be fair I do think Carroll was brought in to rectify this. I don't think Tait has started a game at left back this season unless Carroll has been suspended or injured.
  12. Aye I'd agree with this. Equally though, Seedorf and Cole etc should be able to benefit from a lot more space to get in behind than the last 3 games where teams have sat in against us.
  13. If we win this I think we can afford to start getting properly carried away.
  14. They'll get to us in time I'm sure. They're still working their way through Govan based face painters and florists right now.
  15. I've not watched Scotland since yesterday
  16. Devlin's probably due an injury tbf
  17. I'll bite and ask who. I suspect they've got something in common unrelated to football.
  18. Rugby is a sport designed specifically for philanderers and upper class sexual deviants. I'm glad we aren't taking any moral cues from them.
  19. I agree that Gallagher's been better than Findlay so far, but there's probably not much in it. Even if Gallagher is a slightly better option, I don't really hold it against Clarke for picking somebody he knows well and has worked with before, and is younger with less baggage, particularly as neither of them are likely to be anything more than 4th or 5th choice centre backs.
  20. He was out of contract and free to talk to other clubs without bids being made. Other than that and not reading the headline or first paragraph you're spot on though.
  21. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/david-turnbull-reveals-turned-down-13941209.amp
  22. Ah fair enough. Glad there's a good story behind it.
