  1. What no airline, gate number, boarding and seat number. X sucks.
  2. I can't understand why we still maintain Topic "headings" on this forum any longer. Anyway to get back to Clyde v Well. Can we expect to see the 3 new guys on the team sheet.
  3. Just typing on anther matter when up pops an email from ticketing with the additional ticket via Ticketmaster. Issue solved.
  4. Hope the playing budget can support all the destroyed shirts. Vacancy for a seamstress ?. Grizzly you have a lot to answer for.
  5. Have emailed club without satisfactory response. Holidays? or maybe I am not phrasing the question properly. Thought a poster on here might have experience of how it is handled. If all else fail I will visit ticket office at Peterhead game.
  6. Unsure where to post this. Need help/advice. First time for many years bought season ticket. I remember that being a book of paper tickets, Bought ticket for Herta Berlin for myself and another adult. Both have been downloaded to my card. Question. How do I present card at turnstile to admit both myself and the additional adult ticket.
  7. As a MFCDSA member I just received a post saying that Park is no longer employed by the Club. Appears to have been kept very secretive. May well be valid reasons for that. Looking at MFC website there is a vacancy for Safety Officer with a closing date of 29 June so if connected it has not just happened. Maybe coincidence (2+ 2 +5) but at the WS meeting on Monday a question was raised about an employee being let go. The WS reps present would/could not comment on a Club matter.
  8. It was also said at the meeting that advisory groups consider a 30% response to any voting opportunity good. Maybe it's the old argumentative codger in me that believes a vote should always be used. Some of the MPs and MSPs ruining (not a mistype) are elected with 30% or less.
  9. Without sharing my opinion again on the "1886" group if you have evidence life membership was part of the deal please let us see it. I have a undated document from around that time that offers benefits in return for certain levels of payment.
  10. I get your point but would say on the evidence of last seasons expense on frankly some garbage and crocks then budget is not a problem
  11. I too am in the position of @Electric Blues and have no issues with the "legacy" members. What I do have issues with is a person paying say £5 to join some months/years ago then cancelling the DD and continues to have voting rights. May I remind all that at last years abortive takeover some 4/5000 persons had voting right but around 1500 only contributed financially. i do not need to remind people that it was a critical vote and would have been influenced either way by those who I perceive to have no further interest in the WS. I will throw in two further comments. Yes times are hard especially for some but is £5 pm to continue membership an unreasonable request. Lifetime membership ( at a higher rate than the £300 in 2015) is a suggestion but would it encourage members to stop their contributions. There is no doubt in my mind that WS and therefore MFC need subs to continue for both to be successful.
  12. I do not think we will see any movement in before mid July. Matches are needed to fully assess abilities of current players. He will probably only have seen videos and training with Netherlands adding to that. Match vs Bellshill will I think be mostly academy with Wells, Ross and Whyte possibly. Carlisle ? not much more than a training stint. Clyde and Peterhead are the only really competitive matches to follow before then.
  13. Not sure I would want McGhee at CB. When announced his pre contract I started viewing Dee line ups and during their horrendous spell of goals lost he was apparently in that position. Back 3 or 4 we need a new partner for Gordon.
  14. Can't decide whether the posts on here are worst pre or post announcement
  15. Played schools football with him and then watched him through the Ancell years. It's a good month to be 87.
  16. Surprisingly no mention of McGhee I'm sure i read that he had made his goodbyes to Dee fans
  17. I am pretty sure that the Club were aware of the family issues Wimmer some time and kept it much inhouse. Also sure that that he would not return from Germany was a surprise. As already said with a bank holiday it may not have been possible to gather a quorum to agree anything other than what was made. Would remind all of the last time exec board made statement without prior agreement with the owners representatives
  18. Since the Grammar Police have now appeared you better edit your post to a point or three,😄
  19. Not watching Utd Killie game but according to line up on BBC Campbell is playing right mid. Kettlewell got another job already ?.
  20. I could also say we are being very forward looking but if Grizzly is reading this he might be worried about redundancy. It is way beyond ridiculous. The new manager going to have to use pen and paper to remember all of them.
  21. Give each of them a ball and we might just get a goal
  22. Obviously our formation from now on is 1-5-5.
  23. Coincidence Musk is getting rid of his Fact Checkers ?.
  24. Pity Klopp has taken a better paid job with Booking .com
  25. Probably be accused of being a cynic but Kettlewell for me has chosen to use abuse rather than criticism albeit severe at times lately. Suits the narrative of every ones fault but mine.
