  1. Anyone that ticks the " shites wonders and farts miracles " box, is fine by me
  2. I am referring to the classic 2008 BBC weather forecast referring to Ibrox as Castle Greyskull. Not sure what direction you're coming from?
  3. Judging by his Twitter,Young Mr Hall appears to somewhat favour Castle Greyskull. Which at least muddies the water in terms of the other half. Either way you'd like to think another season as a first team starter would be more sensible than a bit part elsewhere However , if he's got delusions of fame and fortune elsewhere, then don't waste any more starts on him . Next please...
  4. Good shift all round from everyone today. Stevie Hammell for me, ridiculous amount of touches on the ball. Full marks to the chap in front of me for the half time observation that "Sutton has hardly touched the ball" - magnificent...
  5. Hammell and McManus , while past their prime by some way, would still be an awful big miss for me. Natural left footed players are a rare enough commodity , experienced ones are even rarer. If Pearson remains fit( always a doubt) then I could see Lasley moving out of the plans, been a great servant, but he is too far off the pace of the game too often for me, and his days of being on his feet and straight back in the game after tackles are behind him, sadly
  6. 1st August 1970, a friendly v Aston Villa. With my late brother and his mate. Two nil to the 'Well, whatever became of Villa?
  7. So IB got a a couple right? Hardly a staggering success rateGive enough chimpanzees a typewriter... I see he's lined up for a slot on TalkSport2, hope to feck he's not analysing formations and starting XIs #clueless
  8. Connor Ripley by miles. A class apart. Better shift from middle to front second half.
  9. If they've installed a Kitchen at Tynecastle , Gomis' tea is surely oot
  10. Ripley for me. Schmeichel-esque block just after their pen was top drawer. String of other stops No passengers today, solid graft and belief. Moult got what he earned , again Marv had them visibly rattled and he wasn't even at his best Special mention for Reynolds , WTF was he on, a disaster of a game, thanks mate, much appreciated
  11. How things turn around Weeks of pouring scorn onto our disparate midfield , now we're all awash with faith and optimism. That's fitba' folks!!
  12. To make sure we don't feck it up at the last hurdle?Experience is invaluable and helps nurture the weans
  13. Pearo out for 6 weeks Las crocked Time to trawl round for a wee free agent? Law and Laing injured too Joe Chalmers not fit either(that's just a statement of fact, not an injury update.) A bit threadbare aren't we?
  14. Johnson for me, giving him license to roam means he hasn't been as easy to mark him out the game. Work rate upped every game Him, Skippy and Moult a proper strike force Honourable mentions to Cadden- his appetite and work rate was immense. And Hall- he's 19 yrs old and his composure is a joy to watch.
  15. Which was all down to impeccable behaviour, nothing to do with a continuous line of stewards round the entire touchline...... And it was tricky to be jumping on to the pitch, while doubled up laughing
  16. Aye, Laing was getting more solid by the game. To be honest,I'd go for Kennedy , Law has been very inconsistent. Decent going forward but I think he's suspect positionally and too slow in making the right defensive decision, too costly to risk.
  17. Skippy by a mile for me. Work rate, mobility, linkup play all superb. Brilliant pass for Moults second. Honourable mentions for Cadden, growing in stature every week. Big Clubber Laing was an entertainment, Cafu- esque ????
  18. Great to hear them recounting tales of "Psycho" He was looking a few stone lighter at half time today. A 'Well hero forever, - the Cappielow deciding penalty - the 50 yarder past Bonner - the perfectly executed elbow to Peter Grant's pus Not a bad CV at all
  19. So is McDonald fit then? Saw a bit of him doing his BT punditry bit last night with Crags and big Handsomes older brother( erse of a man) Did he allude to his fitness at all?
  20. McGhee stated at press con, "Adam says McDonald should be fit" In other words, he's not gonna start. Better tell Fletcher, he looks like he needs cheering up...
  21. Nice to see St Johnstone joining in on the" lets let the lad run fifty yards unopposed before popping one in the corner club" last night Thought we had copyright on that type of defending
  22. The problem is the post split games are a double whammy if we lose . Instant 6 point swing against teams in it with us. Time to just get the job done on Saturday, simple as...
  23. Win each individual battle. Just basically want to win more than they do. How many players could look at themselves in the mirror and say,"I couldn't do any more out there." Not a single one, I suspect.
  24. ICT 3 - 1 Smashing Not surprised, why would anyone help us out. We got ourselves into this shit, we need to get ourselves out of it.
