Yes , that would be even better Playing the likes of Aldershot Town
-
I hate both clubs with a passion Celtic because of their constant conspiracies, whinging about referees and the fact everyone else in Scottish football is a h*n without bus fare Rangers for their we are the people mentality , constantly going on about 55 league titles and the fact they like to gloat about their glorious club as there is not a team like them . They can’t admit to the fact that 2012 actually happened I could go on and on I would love to see them both in the English premier hopefully losing to the likes of Brighton and Brentford
-
Madness for anyone to be thinking of Kettlewell out after 1 bad result . Done an excellent job in my opinion in the last 8 games More concerned about the likes of Graham Alexander putting Kevin Van Veen forward as being the answer to Rangers goalscoring problems . No doubt they would want him for nothing
-
Totally agree , bad recent run though was shocked to hear Nielsen was sacked. Definetly think Robinson will be a contender, Kettlewell I don’t think will be a serious consideration due to the fact he has only been in charge 7 games Hopefully they go for Levein as he is more their level
-
I seen a picture earlier , which definitely looked like the game yesterday . Looks like he will be taking the role before the end of the season

https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/mark-mcghee-set-motherwell-chief-29665510 Seemingly the man who is replacing Burrows, my first thoughts were there is no way this can happen. Until I read the full story and seen it is his namesake Scottish sun however running another story claiming it is the other McGhee who is in contention, I know which one I am believing

Hopefully another 3 points tomorrow
-
Had hope this might be the day we could smash the 20 year jinx No doubt if we had went 2-0 up at half time they would have somehow hit back and got a result, seen it happen too often now Was definitely impressed with the first 20 minutes and much improved from recent seasons , but this game came as no surprise result in the end
-
The Willie Falconer game Same result please on Saturday
-
Our record against Rangers is horrendous compared to the likes of Killie who beat them 7 times as an earlier poster mentioned I do believe though records are there to be broken , interesting stat I saw that we didn’t win a league game away to Aberdeen between 1966-1994 I think it was with the exception of cup games but when we eventually did we won a lot up there since Just need to give this mob a proper game , if it doesn’t happen next week it will one day
-
Worst thing for us is if Rangers drop points tonight , or somehow lose in the cup. Has happened in the past after a dodgy result they always find their form against us Hopefully they turn up at Fir Park after another 2 victories in those games confidently expecting an easy game against us
-
Happy with the point today at the end, could be a very crucial one come the end of the season
-
I would be amazed if Kettlewell is not the next full time manager and sure he will be now once everything is agreed ,The likes of Holloway is too much of a gamble right now. Enjoyed that game yesterday , best I have enjoyed any game at Fir Park for at least 3 seasons I would say
-
Would have taken any type of win today , good to be into the next round
-
Absolute must win game , a draw or defeat not acceptable One win and hopefully get some confidence back, remember in 2015 under Baraclough we were on a horrendous run of form and a 2-1 victory over Inverness was the start of getting out the mess we were in Hoping for something similar this weekend
-
Must win game for sure Dundee United I think will pick up something against the Govan mob Hibs have been poor recently , have to be looking at picking up a victory in this one
-
I do not think we should push the panic button with Hammell yet. Big changes are needed soon though Was actually happy with the point today which is a sign of where we are at present The way the season is going 10th will be success and I didn’t think I would have said that even a couple of months ago . Clearly struggling though the rot set in before Stevie got the job Even before Alexander came in the last year or so under Robbo’s leadership was a tough watch , and I was a fan of him A previous poster mentioned about the punching above our weight chat which was accurate. I think we should be always aiming better but there is an acceptance from top to bottom that we should be where we are

What if certain Managers were at Motherwell?
twistandshout1983 replied to SteelmaninOZ's topic in Club Chat
Arry would be a great choice, Jurgen Klopp would be ideal On a serious note the late great Jim McLean would have kicked some backsides and of course Sir Alex -
Was a great day , could have done the double against them that season as well if Clarkson had put that chance away to put us 3-1 up at Hampden Nothing beats the feeling in recent years of those two play off games though for me , we sickened them and some have never forgiven us since
-
Marvin Johnson scored for Sheffield Wednesday , could be doing with a player like him now
-
Expecting the usual defeat against this mob Happy Faddy day , 20 years ago today we were just about to kick off and get our last ever league win against Oldco/Newco Of course we did draw twice here last season , and would take a draw right now , more realistically though 3-1 defeat
-
I can’t see the Killie game going ahead , unless there is serious work carried out this week If the game is in danger of being off I would rather both teams agreed to switch the game to Rugby Park then play them at home next time , would rather see this than taking on the Buns after no game for 6 and a half weeks, where they will probably have played 3 by then
-
Martinez did nothing that I can think of in a Well jersey in which was a very poor season overall, though strikes me as a very decent guy who still holds a soft spot for the Well fans Wish him well for the future
-
With the 5 week break now it would be a good idea I think to try and get a couple of friendlies , maybe a game against an English side at Fir Park that fans could pay to get in even . Lower league team of course, maybe one who has no FA cup action , Bradford or a team like them who were knocked out recently, As leagues one and two still going ahead Think Hibs playing Middlesbrough soon . Hopefully a possibility as with no Scotland in the World Cup I would like to see some sort of live football that I have an interest in
-
Hopefully tomorrow we can put away some of those chances , and come away with a victory and a bit of confidence going into the break In general our away form has been much better in recent months
