No manager ever comes with any guarantees. Right now there is a 50/50 chance good or bad. I'd have had the same feeling no matter who we appointed. Good luck to him and at least he is not one of the Scottish Football Merry go rounders or media "jobs for the boys" . That for me is a bonus right away.
if anyone bases their purchase of a season ticket on who the manager will be they need to take a good look at themselves .
There are many good reason why people might not buy a Season Ticket
Cost, Family Commitments, Work Commitments al perfectly acceptable but who the manager is ? nah no having it.
Oh agreed you need luck but fuck me I've never seen any club Win the cup with the draw and luck Aberdeen had. Aberdeen were god awful in the final but Celtic give them a goal theyd never score through their own efforts.
If everyone had the luck Aberdeen have had to win this seasons cup we'd all have a few trophies in our lifetime 😂😂
Draw
Elgin City
Dunfermline
Queens Park
Hearts
And the Celtic Keeper throws the ball in the net for them yesterday.
We will just need to agree to disagree, I think it does, preparation for a new season doesn't just start in June. By the time we get someone in the door its likely to be mid June. He will know fuck all about the squad he inherited so has limited time to assess the options before he may need to head into the transfer market and the season starts in July.
Our only saving grace is Dundee and Kilmarnock are in the same position.
Correct. Generally in these situation The official line tends to be bollocks. We move on, to listen to some Motherwell fans you'd think he was some kind of messiah. The jury's out whether he was any good or not. We will never know. I'm more pissed about how it upsets our recruitment for next season which is a huge issue for us.
