I need to comment on the Referee. In the two European ties the referees have been streets ahead of the utter shite that passes for refereeing in Scotland. Let the game flow. Compare it to that fud who refereed the Falkirk game. Most Scottish games the chat after the game revolves around the referees incompetence. Two European ties and no such discussions.

That is as competent and controlled a game as we've ever played in Europe. For someone whose has been totally unfussed by European games over the last 30 years because of some inept dire performances I really enjoyed that. We were as close to our best performances last year. No failures quality performance. Did anyone hear Andy Halliday say we got £7 million for Just on Sportsound tonight.

Anyone think we are likely to keep Maswanhise this season as interest appears to have tailed off.

I suspect the seating in the POD stand is a stop gap measure. No point investing more when the stand is likely to be demolished. I suspect it will be short term pain for long term gain and those fans in there will have the best seats in the house in a couple of years. . Although I accept that doesn't help the current occupants right now. That said I cant believe folk sat in there with the old wooden seats either. Designed for midgets.

I felt we were poor yesterday at the game but when I watched the Sportscene highlights back I think there's be an over reaction. We weren't that bad. I think it's just we are not yet ticking along as we did last season. Last season was An extremely high benchmark. I think I possibly need to temper my expectations to actually see that we weren't that bad and should have won.

Good to see the fans seem to have stayed with us, 7018 crowd is pretty decent considering Falkirks travelling support was half of last years for the same fixture.

we weren't lucky to get a draw. Falkirk created absolutely fuck all. We hit the woodwork twice and both Maswanhise and Koutrombis skyed efforts that should have been goals. We didnt deserve to win but by no stretch of the imagination were Falkirk unlucky not to win.

I think we contributed quite a bit to it too. Second half was dreadful on chances we should have taken the 3 points but it would have been a steal. We looked comfortable at the back to middle but absolutely no link up middle to front. Maswanhise should have buried the ball in from lonlgello but sent it skywards. However on the plus we remain undefeated and move up to 3rd and its a point more than we got at home to Falkirk last season. Big Big improvement needed for the Helsinki and Aberdeen games. Really wish I could see Eythor Bjørgolfsson getting near or is he another long term waste of money like McGhee .

When i opened digital ticketing I selected the Falkirk game and elected to move the ticket to my Google Wallet however when it transferred it seems to have transferred a season ticket because the QR code diagram is identical to the QR code Diagram for last years season ticket. Still a bit in disbelief how we won that. The minute Hibs scored we lost our way. Hibs had the freedom of the wings and we won very few second balls. That said we employ defenders and a goalkeeper to keep the opposition out and they did just that. Outstanding backs to the wall defensive display. A good team wins ugly and that's what we did and to do so with 8 debuts in the SPFL at a difficult venue is an outstanding start to the season. Terrific away support again today. Good to see Simon Ramsden in amongst the fans enjoying the win.

I often think Bobby Russells impact on us is always very over looked but Cooper for me as he was instrumental in ACTUAL silverware and that was transformational for us closely followed by Tommy Coyne

I'm not against a new stadium but to think we'd finance it by naming rights and office space is wide of the mark. Rotherham rent out office space in their new stadium and get £36,000 a year from one large office suite. Out with transfer fees we still run at a small operating loss so saddling ourselves with £500,000 to £1 million a year in additional financing costs is not realistic. If it was we'd have done it by now. A £20 million pound loan to build a stadium in the UK over 30 years would cost between £1.45 million to £2 million pounds a year to finance., Utter fantasy that we could afford that. Clubs out with Rangers and Celtic would get around £100,000 -£250,000 a year for naming rights.

A new build Stadium is £20/£25 million for a basic build. There is no scenario I can see that we can fund that.

I don't know how anyone over 6 foot sat in the Centre of the Main Stand before the latest changes.

We probably wouldnt need to, a new stand could be "tapered" into the corner similar to two stands at Easter Road and one at Rugby Park. Id make part of any plan to include a new roof on the Hunter Stand.

I was just gonna ask what the fans thought about that. Once Maswanhise goes the club could be sitting on between £10 to £14 million would the fans accept say £6 million being used to rebuild the main stand?
