  1. All the midfield impressed but Turnbull for me, shows a level of composure a few others could learn from.
  2. Can’t fault anyone in midfield today especially Biggi and Turnbull. Everyone put a shift in to be fair but you always had that fear we would see a repeat of Hamilton and St Johnstone. Dundee however would struggle to score in a brothel they are that bad. As others have said we just have no cutting edge up front with any combination, Main was furious when he was taken off but I don’t mind that, at least he cares. Cadden is improving along with Aldred and Hartley although that’s tempered by the quality of the opposition. However two wins with two defeats for St Mirren and Dundee make it a very good week.
  3. Another huge game. We win this and we build up a big gap between the two teams points wise that will be tough to make up, the goal difference is as good as a point. I take it same 11 starting, first home win of the season and 2-0.
  4. Looking like a fantastic night with everything going in our favour. A win on Saturday gives us a huge gap over Dundee.
  5. Come on guys, please let’s have that win tonight. We can then push on for a second one on Saturday.
  6. Is this just a case of going through YouTube and it’s shows as available at kick off ?
  7. I would agree with this. Yes I know he’s a crowd favourite but he’s just so limited technically, I think he’s just going backwards in truth. Something needs to change and I think that’s maybe a move to another club. Yes he’s playing as a wing back and that does not suite him but i’m not buying the “it’s all Robinson’s fault “ line, it’s more than that i’m afraid, he’s just not developed.
  8. The hope would be two wins and the increased confidence that would bring seeing us pick up the odd point or two against the better teams. Yes I know a long shot but stranger things have happened and confidence goes a long way.
  9. Massive game against a team that can’t buy a win ( sadly a bit like us) however we simply have to pick up points in the next two. I actually think we will, 2-0 to Motherwell with goals from Johnstone and Bowman.
  10. Yep, the forwards are feeding off scraps at times. How Cadden keeps getting picked is baffling given he’s had a truly dreadful season so far.
  11. Johnstone still has potential in my view, Bowman is effective with the right partner as he was alongside Moult, and Tanner has a level of skill.
  12. Surely the fact he has given Turnbull his chance would suggest Maguire will also receive his ?
  13. Any worse than calling for him to be sacked ?
  14. Personally I think he will need 4 points from the next couple of games with the run after that or he’s on shaky ground.
  15. A gamble yes, but anyone is a gamble. As before no one on here is actually able to name a stand out candidate as next manager other than those that have already failed at other clubs.
  16. We were without doubt the better team for 60 minutes, we had the majority of the possession and St Johnstone did nothing but as has been the case all season the quality in the final third was awful. It was as you say pretty much a carbon copy of the Hamilton game, St Johnstone are not a patch on the team they have been over the last few years but sadly it still ended up being enough.
  17. Personally I think Bowman has become more negative of late but as you say so have the whole team. I just think at times he’s one of those players that gets stick far quicker than others. Second half he made a hash of a pass to Johnstone and gets dogs abuse, Campbell and Cadden do it half a dozen times before they get the same reaction. Cadden was rank today and got a great ovation as he left the field.
