We've been just as bad in the other games but got lucky with OGs, a penalty, a 96th minute set piece and the ref ignoring Ciftci bundling a guy over.
We deserved to win both games against Hamilton and Ross county. You make your own luck.

To be fair I think in the last few months the club has actually done well in the deals they have done. Players are always going to leave and balancing out the amount received for Hennegan and Moult and what weve paid for those coming in they deserve credit.
-
The key is the time left on his contract, that leaves Motherwell in the driving seat with this one. Im sure Carson would love to go but its not going to happen if we dont receive a big offer and Celtic wont splash big money for a 29 year old.
-
Not going to happen at that offer with two days to go, does not even have time to get unsettled.
-
Not sure I'd be disappointed if we didn't get him.
Not sure where he fits in to the system that we seem to be playing. And after a bright start to his loan spell at St Johnstone, he didn't do very much. And that's with a manager who had got the best out of him before and a fair number of players he had played with, ideal situation you'd have thought to rediscover his form...
Think hes been struggling with an ankle injury for the last few months.

3 games unbeaten then and indeed unbeaten in 2018.
What was the panic all about?
The break could not have come at a better time. Regroup in the sun, injuries given time to heal, and what looks like 3 very good additions, are we actually stronger up front now than we were, even without Moult ? Even if we lose against Hibs we go into the home game against Partick with just the one defeat. I would have settled for that .

Boy am glad I never bought a ticket to go today, the reason for that was the garbage I sat through on Wednesday . Now our most creative player is warming the bench I feel sorry for our support who will be lucky to see us have a shot on goal . I really do hope I'm wrong but if we get beaten Robinson will be out with the " we are down to the bare bones " rubbish, 4 days till the window closes we have gathered a bit of momentum over the last 2 games but get beat at Tynecastle then it makes it even harder to go to Easter Road
Yep, you were wrong

Fisher made his Yeovil debut then, brought on after 69 mins against man untd, never saw the game so wonder how he played
He was pretty anonymous but hes playing against Man Utd and just got out if his car so no surprise.

Ok so who would you replace Kipre and Dunne with is you had your way, defence is the area of the team where we have the most issues, especially at left back now Hammell has retired. Granted we now have Aldred who could cover for Kipre, but I am not sure about playing Aldred alongside Hartley they look too similar a player for me.
Personally I would give Aldred and Hartley a shot together, even though they are both similar players. But we need a left sided defender anyway. I would hope hes on his way.

Alex Fisher leaves for Yeovil Town
Friday, January 26, 2018
Alex Fisher has left Motherwell Football Club to join Yeovil Town on a permanent deal.
The English striker, who joined in the summer from Inverness CT, will go straight into the League Two sides squad for the FA Cup tie with Manchester United on tonight.
Fisher made 19 appearances for the Steelmen and was part of the squad who made it to this seasons Betfred Cup final. However, he has found regular football difficult to come by.
I just want to say thanks to everyone at Motherwell for making me feel so welcome, the 27-year-old said of his departure.
Although I only spent a short time with you all, it was a memorable time to be involved with the club.
I leave with a heavy heart but also relishing the opportunity to play in England again, and potentially make my debut against Manchester United.
Thanks to everyone involved with Motherwell. I wish you all the very best for the future.
Manager Stephen Robinson said of the players departure: We wish Alex all the best at Yeovil.
He was someone we signed based on his performances in the Scottish Premiership last season, but unfortunately it hasnt happened for him here due to the form of others.
That can happen sometimes in football. Sometimes things dont just work for boys at certain clubs.
This move will give Alex the chance of a fresh start. Around this club, he has been the model professional and his attitude is first class.
We wish him well for the future. We will now look to replace him before the window closes.
Good luck to him, thought he always had a good attitude and hopefully the move works out for him.

Why is it people want to drop Dunne he has been one of our best defenders and is probably the fastest by a mile yet every second post drop him !!!!
Im not a huge fan just because hes technically extremely limited. Ok I guess you could probably pick out deficiencies in most of the squad but for me Dunn is on a different level. Hes strong and quick for sure but im not convinced at this point hes premiership quality.

Let's go on a wee league run get points on the board then we can all pat the manager on the back
I have a feeling you would still find fault
-
Echo the above comments, outstanding job.

Likewise for Dundee Utd. Last few games I have seen them play they looked murder. Would fancy any Premiership team to take see them off over 2 legs.
That applies to the majority of seasonal play offs in truth, there is a substantial gap between the two divisions. Look at the cup game against Morton at the start of the season. How many teams from the championship have actually gone up through the play offs ? Hamilton, any others ?
-
I heard it was a broken jaw. The various rumours seem to suggest some sort of facial injury anyway.
Bowman doesnt seem the sort to throw his toys out the pram.
Hes not, very down to earth and a decent guy.
-
I went for Main. He put in a fantastic shift and if he stays fit will cause teams real problems when he settles in.
-
Fair play to Robinson, spot on with his post match comments and for me, even thought its early days very usefull January signings.
-
I thought that was very encouraging, were back to a high tempo pressing game and the break probably came at the right time. Very impressed with Aldred and Main with Ciftci so so. Tanner was first class and for all the stick Rose takes very good also.Accies were never on it.

1 win in 11 Whats to think about ?
Ok

Didn't realise you couldn't post negatively on here but had to go with "all good nothing to see here people "
I personally dont have an issue with anyones views. I just dont think your posts are well thought out or particularly accurate.

Yes your dead right Rose Frear Fisher Bigi Bowman Dunne are all well out of their depth ,rather watch the kids giving all they have than the mercenaries that are wearing Claret& Amber at the moment
You mention the words mercenaries, and kids giving their all and I just dont see what you see. The players you mention appear to me to be giving their all, Bowman puts in a tremendous amount of effort as one example he just does not have that level of technical ability. I can forgive that if you give your all for the team and I think on the whole they do that. I dont recognise the word mercenaries in any of them.

I think people sometimes forget Kipre has just turned 21 and is playing his first season of first team football. Huge huge amount of potential but needs game time managed like all young players do to get him through the peaks and troughs. At the moment he plays every game because no one else can step in to the back 3.
As is Heneghan, young with potential which is why a club was willing to pay nearly half a million for him. Some people want to see young players in the team then expect them to be the finished article. Were talking about young centre halves here that are probably 6/7 years away from their peak.

Wikipedia suggest he's contracted until summer 2019.
Interesting, im sure one of the articles I read said this summer.
