  1. Absolutely delighted. I shed a few tears at full time for my mate iain Shedden (ex Coltness/Wishaw High) who died this week of throat cancer. He was only 60. Iain lived in Sydney and was a massive Well fan who was over for the Aberdeen game. I am sure he will be looking down with pride tonight. RIP Iain and hope the boys win the final for you.

The team did him proud, sure he will be looking down with a massive smile on his face.

  2. No reason to doubt you mate.l but I was convinced a saw a tweet earlier quoting 6k but now I can't find it.

Finger crossed we do take 9,000. That would be an unbelievable effort considering our home attendance last season was generally 3,000-3,500.

You could be right mate and the information given may actually be wrong. Maybe they were just pulling a figure out of the air when they spoke to John. Regardless Im sure we will do the club proud

  3. Now I have no idea how many we'll take...in the interview with Carl McHugh just posted on YouTube, Lewis Irons says there'll be 'almost 10,000 Motherwell aupporters will have there tickets for the game'.

Now beginning to doubt myself that I saw a tweet this morning, I'm losing the plot. Maybe the tweet was posted earlier in the week it something.

I had the match tickets and bus tickets picked up by one of my staff and he said a figure of 9000 was stated in the ticket office. My post was based on that.

  4. We are more than a match for them and in players like Cadden and Campbell have players with Motherwell in their dna. Its going to be a battle and yes were up against it but this team does not know when its beat and will relish that challenge.

With us all behind them we can, and im confident will shock a lot of people in the game and come out winners.

    They aint that great guys.

  5. Really fantastic news that says a lot about the club just now right from the bottom to the top. Well done to everyone, its a good time to be a Motherwell fan. Now lets make the season even better over the next 9 days. Tickets ready for collection for the cup game, lets show them what the club is made of these days.

  6. New to the forum after a couple of seasons watching the club. Just as background I support a guy with learning difficulties through work and after a number of years with season tickets at Rangers and a Hamilton we thought we would give Motherwell a shot. What can I say we've both fallen in love with the club over those two seasons. It just has that feel about it we've never encountered at any other club with the group of fans around us in the Cooper stand making us so welcome. That also goes for all the staff and those running the disabled supporters association. Have to say I was worried when Robinson took over but my goodness what a team we have now with a group of players giving their all for the club and such a feel good factor from all those around us. Love the fact we have young Motherwell players coming through the ranks and that puts many other clubs to shame. You could see on Thursday night just how much it meant to the likes of Caddens and the workrate everyone put in was amazing.

Anyway Stephen the guy I supports just loves his Saturdays now and is always talking about the club and that makes me happy, thanks Motherwell.
