Think he was pretty prolific in the Lowland League with Hearts and presumably they had doubts he could make the step up when they let him go last year. Definitely looked impressive today but aye, he would probably have better options. I would imagine he is under contract for at least one more year so may be beyond our means even if we do receive a big transfer fee this summer. Nothing ventured, nothing gained through.

Went for Watt. Great running, won his fair share in the air, an assist and unlucky not to score in the second half. Could easily have went for Koutroumbis or Slattery. Sparrow also had a good game for the most part.
-
We do seem to have a knack of making things difficult for ourselves but great 3 points in the end.
-
Went for Slattery. Thought he tried to make things happen and never gave up trying to press. Thought Casey and Koutroumbis were the pick of the rest.
-
Pretty poor stuff. Defended OK for the most part but far too many poor and overhit passes. Don't think either team could argue they deserved more out of it.
-
Heard Robinson on Sportsound. Sounded like a bitter ex.
-
Went for Slattery. Two good finishes and thought he combined well with the rest of midfield along with putting in a good shift. Hope he just went off as a precaution, seemed to be feeling his hamstring.
-
Didn't quite click today especially when we needed to after they went down to 10. Still a point not a disaster after being 2 down. Thought the ref could have been on top of the persistent fouling better, maybe would have helped prevent people going off injured?

2 nil up and we didn't fuck it up! Ya beauty!
-
Hard not to go for Casey for the goals but went for Thompson. Made himself available going forward and thought he defended well. Great effort levels from everyone particularly Sparrow, Andrews, Miller and Slattery.
-
Great 3 points. Had the fear we would pay for only having the one goal lead after the first half. Great shift from everyone, not surprised some ran out of steam in the second.
-
🤣 And the car would have a backfire problem built in.

Next Patrick manager?
-
Yes Balcombe spilled a few shots today that were pretty much straight at him.
-
Thought Slattery was the pick today. Done his best to make things happen but his options were usually limited.
-
Plenty of possession but too slow moving the ball and poor movement from the players, particularly in the last third. Team seemed to lack understanding all over the park Another game where we make mistakes asking to be punished, Regarding manager, Stephen McGinn said on Sportsound his understanding was it will be someone from the continent but not Ketsbaia.

Had to be Armstrong. Goal and put some shift in, surprised he lasted the whole game. Good effort from everyone. Balcombe, Thompson and Sparrow the pick of the rest.
-
Put this one in the could have been worse category. Recovered well after giving them a goal of a start and there was plenty of effort but without much quality. Was hoping we would have caused them more problems in the second half but hardly troubled them.

No I was more meaning specifically with fans that had already turned. Personally I would have preferred he carried on until the summer and then reviewed wherever that took us. Not much the window left, signings already made and probably 9 points or so from safety. You are right though. Tommy McLean, the only manager I have seen us win anything with, had people that just never took to him.
-
No bother. Yes, those remarks were never going to help unless he was 100% sure we were going wipe floor with St. Johnstone, which he surely couldn't have been.

Lost me with this, you confusing me with someone else? Don't think it tarnishes the whole club, don't know how much input SK would actually have had with the wording but seems clear he has given it, "personal abuse", as a reason. I'm giving my opinion on how he has appeared to be to me, as I said not actually knowing the guy. Other people may have a different opinion and that's fine. If it turns out he was thinking of his next interview and thought I can't say I left my last job because I had ran out of ideas I better give a different reason then I might change my opinion but I will take him at face value for now.
-
My seat is in the Cooper and I have not witnessed any personal abuse towards Stuart Kettlewell. I very rarely go to away games though and wasn't at either Perth game so can't comment on them. Frustration at results, performances and the quality on the park is understandable but there are limits. I don't know exactly the type of thing SK is talking about but he has felt it was a factor so I will take that at face value, not knowing the guy any more than most. Just going on TV, radio and club media. He did appear to me to be someone who had a genuine feeling for the club, worked extremely hard and did his best. I thought he would have deserved the chance to turn things round again. Having said that, sometimes though, it just stops working like Robinson and McCall before him. Academic now decision made himself. Some things have conspired against us like horrendous luck or whatever with injuries and a few decisions. Fans of other clubs would probably have the exact same gripes. Just hope we can stabilise until the summer and look at things then.

FFS! Ross County huge game for us.

Went for Maswanhise. Great touch for his goal and put himself about, even though there isn't much of him. A solid game from Halliday as well.
-
Great 3 points. Probably made hard work of it in the second half but nice to get the clean sheet in the end. Good to see the guys coming back from injury as well.
