Defensively untroubled, midfield absolutely dominant, final third non-existant

The Falkirk stadium is very decent with probably the best new build main stand in Scotland, just needs a forth stand.
It's got three forth stands

I dont really see the purpose in adding last seasons results into our current form...as far as I'm concerned we've lost 2 and drew 2 of the current season and surely that's what matters? A win tomorrow makes our current form much more bearable, while a defeat will make a few folk much more nervous

O'Donnell has played at left back a number of times and is a natural full back. If you are making someone switch it's far better to switch someone like that than stick Grimmy there. Positioning is half the battle and if you normally play full back it comes naturally.
I have zero confidence in Lamie at left back after the Livi game. He was a mile out for most of it, 100% to blame for the 1st goal and played a big part in losing the second. Any time Livi attacked down the right wing he was caught out. (I don't blame him for not being very good, as it's not really his position).
The irony is we had Carroll, Dunne, McGinley and even Donnelly that can play left back and only Grimmy on the right - and we are struggling to fill the LB slot.
I'd be delighted if Lamie's performance was just a temporary blip and he plays a blinder there in the future with O'Donnell at RB, but I'll need convincing.
A number of times? That many that he cannae remember...

O'Donnell was in the papers yesterday saying he's played at left back before and happy to play there again.
If it's a choice between Grimmy at RB and O'Donnell at LB vs. O'Donnell at RB and Lamie at LB I'll take the former. It's far from ideal, but Lamie was a liability on Wednesday and his ridiculous handball changed the momentum of the first half just as we were starting to make some progress.
With 5 subs, it's easy enough to switch to the other option if it's not working out.
He said, ' I think I played left back at thistle'

Mugabe is a bombs scare, Gallagher not up to speed playing with him, don't shoot Grimmy the manager plays him in preference to others especially last season although think he really needs to concentrate on defending rather than going on mazy runs
Mugabi defended pretty well the other night, his distribution isn't great...Grimmy is howling

That's the managers job got to play players he can trust ,yes the injury list hasn't helped but playing people out of position hasn't helped so as I see it the only thing he can do is give youth it's chance . Now I haven't seen Devine or Hussain play but now is as good a time as any to see what they can do let's face it they can't be any worse than Mugabe and Grimmy . I would probably go for 3-5-2 on Saturday
Carson
Devine. Gallagher ( if fit) Hussain
O'Donnell Campbell Turnbull Ohara Hylton
Watt. Lang
A message to Burrows;
Sack Robbo and gie the job to this crazy bastard...what a laugh that formation /selection would be

Until the injuries sort themselves out I would play a back four of O'Donnell, Gallagher, Mugabi and Lamie.
Agree with that...lamie isn't great there but he is the best option...SOD is a better right back than Grimshaw...Gallacher is our best centre back and Mugabe looked reasonably solid the other night

He is best right back in spfl outside tavernier and frimpong so although I respect your opinion you are very much wrong.

Who knows but some outgoings wouldn’t be a surprise.
One thing I like about O’Donnell is that he’s a leader and does a lot of talking on the pitch, we seem to be badly needing that.
I think that's a certainty once the lower leagues get up and running

Welcome to Motherwell Stephen, hopefully you can shake off the perceived opinion of your ability.
I stand by that Dumbo...
...it says a lot about my opinion of Grimmy that I think SOD is better though

Never been a fan of the guy (to put it mildly), however I do concede that he is better than our current 1st team right back.

Seriously? Sorry mate can’t agree at all on that one. He’s played in 2 games and been shite in both.
He’s absolutely crap and so out of his depth it’s embarrassing. Grimshaw is another who should be replaced. Both are total dug shite.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkHe defended ok last night, cannae comment on Utd game as I didnt see it...he was in the top 3 or 4 performers last night

Is O'Donnell still training with Accies? By no means 'international standard', but certainly a lot better than many on here give him credit for.
Hes better than Grimmy...no sure how much of a compliment that is though

For all the positive press that our midfield get, we are creating next to nothing in terms of making chances
