Totally agree with you. He was a big fish in a small pond with us but has just blended into the grey when paired with a better calibre of player Shame really as I hoped he would have progressed and it appeared he had the talent to do so.

The context isn't great either If we get clean sheets we get more points, its that simple really If we score the amount of goals we did this season AND get more clean sheets we generate at least a top 6 finish. All hypothetical I know but clean sheets obviously matter, even in the context you articulated.

Im not sure where i said kettlewell wasnt up to the job, as long as he is the Motherwell manager he has my full support. That doesnt detract from the fact we had a crazy winless streak and a pathetic cup run and im happy that the season is over. Im personally not happy with a 9th place finish, it wont stop me supporting Motherwell. If people are ok with a 9th place finish...................cool, but i personally think that shows a lack of ambition, its just my opinion and i HOPE most Motherwell fans are of the same mindset but if not then again, its absolutely fine. the original post you replied to me about was my interaction with Spiderpig who I felt was condescending toward MY opinion but again im ok with interactions about a differing of opinion and i wouldnt fall out with someone or take it personally but i will reply.............

I was surprised to know that some people seemed to take offense to my suggestion that the majority of our fans wouldn't be satisfied with a 9th place finish and poor cup runs so thought a poll was in order to get the overall opinion rather than infighting Will be interesting to see the result

If people in our fanbase are happy with this season then fair do's but its a no from me. Do I think we will improve next season..................I hope so. Im looking forward to next season and happy that this one is over, there have been some good results and great goals flecked throughout the season but inconsistant performers, incredibly poor cup runs and a leaking defence have been our downfall. As I say, if people are happy with a 9th place finish then im kinda shocked to be honest

Your positivity is great but this season has seen an unbelievable winless run and some absolute eye-bleeding football..............i for one am happy that the season is over!!!!!

What I like is Steelboys thought process where he has made his mind up that any potential deal with an outside investor will result in the death of Motherwell FC, which as far as I can see is based upon knowing:- 1- absolutely nothing 2- pure speculation 3- turning that speculation into fact in his head But I do respect the fact that he is just carrying on with it as it makes for great reading 🤣 Steelboy, I get that you clearly love Motherwell and the fan ownership model but lets just actually wait and see what the details of the deal are 👍 COYW!!!!!!

Totally agree A lot can be argued about how good or not they are as individual players or indeed how tactically aware (or not) the manager is but they certainly do try which is all we can ask!!!!!!! COYW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He will have far superior media execs, sponsor opportunities etc etc which can only be a good thing as well as putting us in the window. The only person ive seen touting the 1.5mil idea is Steelboy who im actually thinking is just a troll looking for reactions as he seems unhinged at any idea of Motherwell trying something a little different.
