We are solid in Defence and Midfield but the frontline is so so poor it's weakest link it offers nothing. Never a better opportunity to stuff old firm teams but lack of bite up front is pretty obvious.

I really don't get this considering we are short of bodies I get SK didn't fancy him but could have just kept him on until January at very least just incase. Maybe we have a free coming in on short term deal til new year I would hope so anyway.

I think its a case of this manager doesn't really fancy him as much as the manager that brought him to Luton started to get dropped alot when Edwards came in. As for never a Premiership player you don't really know until someone is given a chance sadly think he shall be on the move before window closes.

For me Defence and Midfield are fine not any worse or better than the teams about us I actually think Midfield is best it's looks in a fair we while the frontline however is really really weak and as it stands right now we are 1 injury away from having a mare. We need two forwards now to come in right off Obika and good chance we might not see Biereth again sadly. So that's Efford,Bair and Wilkinson I myself would have Efford playing his pace alone gives us something and that is something sorely lacking upfront.

The budget has clearly went down so I can't believe that we signed a 32 year old forward with a history of Thigh and Hamstring Injuries over last 2-3 years that's clearly to me not using the budget properly just lazy lazy recruitment.Obika is a sprint away when he does come back of getting injured again. Christ thank god Wilkinson's head knock start of season wasn't bad or we would be bang in trouble. We are about to see what SK is made of the real season for him has started we are down a striker scoring goals for fun and two dynamic wingbacks key to his system and success.

Sorry but the signing of Obika was a terrible bit of recruitment.Was out around 6 months at Morecambe with a hamstring injury,missed 7 games end of last season with a hamstring injury and low an behold out to when ever with a hamstring injury these all in last two years!Shouldn't have been avoided at all costs but no 1 year deal with a 1 year extension option. Nobody can't tell me that no other players in UK and Ireland that would could have got on same package that could have been at least fit.

I would welcome him with open arms 100 percent only thing he needs not to be injured to sign on and ready for first team action which i think he would be.

Davor will come good I have a feeling that he will get a decent run in the squad and prove his worth. The frontline is now such a ballache we are going to need to take away a another position that needed strengthened to get two new forwards in on loan. When you take a step back and look at our frontline it's one of the weakest in the league think we are needing some experience up front an old head that's played in the league just to help the new guys out.A signing that might make folk moan a bit but we seriously need something asap.

It's all fine and well saying it takes 6 months upto speed however it takes 1 minute to look at a players medical record and work out Obika has hamstrings made of glass that shall have him out for most of the season. Obika 1 year with a 1 year possible extension is basically 2 years worth of wages down the pan. We are a body down already in an area of the pitch that looks to be our weakest.

Fletcher was interviewed the other week and said he has had a fair few offers but wants something that and I quote “gives him that buzz”. I shall leave the rest upto your good selves to come up with the answers why he has signed. Also I find it pretty alarming SK has signed a few players that are injured or have been out with serious long term injuries sounds a bit familiar with another former manager that signed a few that backfired greatly. If this forward line scores 20 plus between that shall be a good season.

Frontline is very very poor needs to be addressed before end of transfer window this is the weak part of the team the one that’s going to cost us this season. The medical team are going to be the stars of the show at Fir Park this season me thinks.

I say one thing i am loving this Midfield right now just something about them look so balanced really enjoying watching them gel and get better by the game. Also big Bev had a good game hope it continues.

Midfield for me were fantastic this is the Slattery we saw when he first arrived but better and young Miller just getting more confident on the ball by the game. Only real negative if I was to pick something that stood out a bit was the downgrade in wing backs from last season it’s clearly visible we are going to ship a lot of goals because of this. Good point onwards and upwards.

I shall go 6-8 not really much between 7 or so teams only worry for me is the frontline we have if we can get that firing then defo top 6th. If we don't finish higher than St Johnstone then it's been an awful season cause they look utter dreadful my team to go down this year.

I wasn't expecting a goal scoring KVV replacement machine I was expecting someone to make me to raise an eyebrow hmmm interesting. I look at the frontline we have basically signed three of the same player that play similar way not much flexibility.

Offt looking at this forward line and thinking it’s worst I might have to watch at Fir Park in many a year the Midfield will have to chip in with goals big time. I honestly think Blair Spittal might be our top goal scorer this season might stick a few pennies on it.

I would go for two forwards minimum.Obika I got a feeling he is going to be in and out the team with niggles all season seems to pick up knocks pretty easily. Wilkinson I will judge soon as January transfer window rolls around but good to see him score hope it pushes him on. Good to see young Miller get a goal but for me so far Slattery seems to have a spring in his step what I have seen of him so far he looks really good going into the start of the league games well impressed with him.

I think I am much worried about how broke we actually are.The January transfer window I think has basically saved us but left us in a awful state I don’t even know what to expect from this season as the quality has left and we have signed mediocre in my view. However if we don’t finish above St Johnstone this season then it’s a total failure they are so honking with a worse squad than us. Kettlewell is starting to sound like Robinson now in every interview when he talks about money how skint we are.

Spittal has been fantastic for us since Kettlewell took over and SoD i think just has to move on and be replaced just feel his time with us has ran it’s course. As for the frontline I never thought Obika would be our main goal threat and what’s a tad alarming for me is Wilkinson going missing and involvement in the games he has played so far. Needs to get stuck in a bit more for me does Wilkinson.

If anything we need a box to box with a bit of a tackle in them without Butcher we are so light in Midfield i think we will get bossed pretty easily.

One thing for me is we look a bit lightweight in midfield on the tackling front when Butcher isn't involved think would like to see a tackler brought in even on a 6 month deal if possible should Butchers injury come back to bite us. Pretty sure out starting midfield will be Slats,Spittal and Butcher when he is fully fit.

It’s embarrassing this is even a thing it’s a f-cking Motherwell kit that has nothing to do with whatever is being talked about it.I am embarrassed for the people that even talked about it in that way. This obsession non old firm fans have with the old firm and everything to do with them is the problem they talk about with so much passion i actually question who they follow. Time to move on and hopefully folk can grow up a wee bit leave the hate to the narrow minded.

I am actually looking forward to the new season not so much the league cup can’t stand the format but the season proper that’s when it all clicks in for me Also I always keep an eye on guys that have came through our youth set up see how they progress in careers and can’t wait to see Alan Campbell in the EPL this season!

I see we are trying to get Furlong back on loan be fantastic to get him for another season. Soon as he found his feet he was a solid week in week out.

Thats the worrying part when you think about it alot of players have left brought some money on KVV and Max and we still need to get rid of players before we can bring anyone according to the manager. I wouldn't be shocked a few clubs reading that might put in a bid for Kelly see if we could be tempted to sell. The glory days of Alan Burrows keeping in touch with us are sorely missed I feel now.
