Totally agree with many posters on here that our last few games since the United game have as always shown great possession but feck all attack or energy and have gifted opposition the points not out out of being outplayed just stupid decision making. For me today we lacked the energy, Hodge n Faddy forever turning back when there was lots of space in front to run into forcing the opposition to come out their solid shape, too slow, ponderous and no movement to give the ball holder options rather than going backwards. We need to be quicker, sharper and again put the fear into teams by our collective movement and pace, currently we look as if we are playing a Geriatrics 11 select. Oscars energy and passing is so missed and I’m hoping his return is soon! The forward line needs changed, Thor and Seb need a run together in the team, RCC offers nothing, Mas has lost his confidence, defence I feel Alfred needs to drop Sparrow, teams have targeted the right as he is no RB so he is the weak link, a natural RB is needed, SOD or Williams should be given a go at least until JK comes back LK should be in in place of GR, Polsen has his moments, (like Ward did last year for the first 10 games) but he is streets ahead of Connolly who gives me the hebee jeebies. We have a decent squad but AJ needs to find the balls to drop those that haven’t performed and give others their chance, we should be mid table this year, last year was special but we won’t be Jens2. Alfred has time but not unlimited, we need to when we get back from the break start picking up points and go on a run.

We had better hope they win or we might see Jens back in Scotland at Hibs, stranger things have happened😱

From Alfred’s presser post game I’m sure he should be considering he’s started the wrong team to compete against what every fan knew would be Robbo ball, long hoofs n heavy tackles, lightweight front n midfield, he has to drop Mas n start Palmer or Thor as the target to either direct shots or headers in on goal on Sat or be the lay off to the midfield or Longo, start SOD for that experience, Kanga as a sub and a Levitt starting.

A woeful display tonight, 69% possession n feck all creativity, I have no idea why we start without a centre forward but Alfred’s plan is crosses from the wing? Mas and Cooke offered nothing tonight but we persisted with firing it down the right while Longo was in acres of space on the left and if you want any player on the ball running at a defence it’s got to be Lingo but no we have right side blinkers and Robbie cluggers know that. We honestly miss Oscar’s energy, Lucas n Hodge continually turn back, we give the opposition time to re assemble, we want to walk the ball in, Alfred needs to change it up, agree with other posters we need to start Levitt on Sat, drop Mas n start Palmer, drop Sparrow n start SOD start Levitt ahead of Kanga, As for captain material for Sparrow? I must admit I was disappointed with yesterday result, but I have to put it in context of where we are just now with effectively a new manager and a new team, having as others have said travelled across Europe, been put out by the team sitting 2nd in the German top tier who sold 3 players for £120m to our 3 players for £9m, started the SPL with just 1 defeat more points than last season at this point and to a team admittedly not playing well, but having spent well over £30m in transfer fees and at home in front of the knuckle dragger fans. We have to remember that the season in long and we have started well, we have 10 days now for injuries to ease, players to re charge and AJ finally a chance to bed in his ideas and come back with a fresh impetus. I agree JT is no No9, Thor cannot be judged on 25 minutes of football after an injury, I think with AJ style he could flourish in the middle with Palmer and Tom Sparrow gives his all wherever he’s asked to play, yes JK is my preferred RB but he’s injured…again, and it’s a fact fir me we miss Oscars energy in midfield although Hodge n Lowry have been good, so on overview we have for our wonderful wee team a great squad of talent that I’m sure we will mostly agree is the best for decades that I feel will do well this year. We could be like Killie with McCann at the helm shipping goals for fun but no, we score more goals in our first 4 games than we have since the 1920’s. We need to be calm and be realistic with expectations, AJ and the team will do well this year just give them a chance, we ain’t going to win the league it looks like the horrid Selic will, but let’s win our own league within the league. Let’s see what a break does for the team and hopefully come back n pump Robbo’s sheep!

Totally agree on that point, in the first half we had at least 3 great chances to equalise and didn’t convert so at both ends we need to be sharper but I felt the ball was sticking in the grass today and passes were running short as a result, maybe McInnes decided to let the grass grow to disrupt our game

Moorman for me today, solid at the back, cleared off the line and didn’t put a foot wrong, shame about the fanny about outside the box with passes available with a player closing down that cost us.

So after an eternity the SFA finally decides that a fitting punishment to ra Selic n Sevco for the most unruly behaviour seen at a Scottish football match (at that point in the season) in over a decade is to ban their home fans for 1 match and a £100k payment to the opposing team. Yet just a month earlier the suits in the SPL see fit to only tap ra Selic on the knuckles for their fans shambolic behaviour at Fir Park and Peadoland at the end of the season…where is the consistency, was one lesser than the others? We all know that two tier justice is alive and kicking within the UK, but this just confirms loud and clear to every fan and every football club except the ugly sisters that two tier justice exists within the ivory towers of Scottish football officialdom. When I put the fine we received for the Helsinki idiot against the Sevco n Selic fans it’s clear as mud…if you are anyone outside the chosen ones then you’re fecked. 😩

For me this has to be the signing of the summer for us, 3 years plus a year, we have invested highly for this boy, his stats are impressive 18 goals n 16 assists in 68 games and only 20, I can’t wait to see him play now, hopefully his time with the greatest wee club in the world is filled with success, welcome to the Mighty Well Jardell!

FFS have you not been watching the games n listening to the manager in his pressers about injuries and managing players to prevent an even longer list of injuries? Clearly you’ve had your black out shades on n ear plugs in and just want to winge about a negative again. Cancellation was the best decision for me, every other team has done it so why should we put ourselves at a disadvantage for the Freiburg game. CMYW!

I think for this game if we can field as many of our first choice players as possible (I’m sure AJ will) with selected youngsters like Whyte available off the bench and try and put up a great show at Fir Park against admittedly a vastly superior opposition in all positions then with a 10,000 crowd behind the team we always have the chance of a result. At the end of the day even the best sides on paper loose to supposed minnows, (Stenny game a prime example) I’d take a draw but I’m hopeful of a victory to take to Germany with a new striker (Best things come to those who wait…) to get a run out next week.
