    I would go 3 - 5 - 2

    Kelly

Mcginn Blaney Lamie.......Johnston and O'Donnell wing backs.  3 midfielders of Cornelius, Tierney and Danzaki.  Mandron (if fit) and KVV

No place for mckinstrey our most creative/effective player over the last month or so..mmm ok then

feck we wish  he will probs revert back to his norm next week,    any way all take a sclaff aff his erse that just goes over the line and no more at st midden next week we now need to take points

What do you mean back to his norm?he's played 115 minutes for us and scored 2,yes it's against Arbroath, you can't take stats from other teams he's played for,I saw him last week for the time he was on the park,he looks mobile and has a nice touch,I think he'll do just fine for us

When my old man started taking me to Fir Park in 1972, then started buying me season tickets in 1975, I had no idea what an act of utter cruelty that was.

    Same.... 😂

My uncle took my brother to rangers, though I'm glad I'm not part of that establishment

Watching the highlights was excruciating last night. Hammy picks the team but you can't legislate for the defending for our goals.  When we can't do the basics it really is a concern.  We have played 4 at the back and won 2 out of 16 games!!, Is it worth playing back 3 of mcginn Blaney Lamie and having SOD and Penney as wing backs?  Just a suggestion

And a good suggestion,I'd pack the midfield regardless off who it is,we need numbers in there to stop teams playing through us so easy

It's not the worst team in 36 years.

People on here have short memories.  Remember the latter days of Robinson when you knew we'd do absolutely nothing every week?

And you need players like Goss if you want to do anything.  That ball he played over the Hibs defence in the first half.  Absolute class.  It's the other players that aren't doing enough.

I remember ok teams that got off to great starts in the league, took the pressure off and gave us confidence, there is zero confidence in this team,no one seems to want the ball, even when they do the only option is throwing it into the corners

completely agree - I'd rather we played Tierney deeper/McKinstry or just about any other player.

2 goals in 42 games - back to the championship.  I'd happily try a swap deal for a hold midfielder from the championship team.

Is his assists record just as bad?as I was one willing to give him the benefit of the doubt

That's a strange one, looks a 4-4-2,but if SOD fit enough for bench he's our best player in the RB position he must start

Had to edit this after looking at team again, fotmob has Johanson at RB I thought it was max johnston, eyesight not wot it used to be

Ipswich expect Penney to return in a couple of weeks. The manager was asked in a press conference today. He's out of contract in the summer so they probably want to get a few quid for him fairly soon.

The guy has done himself no harm with his performances up here,a standout in a pretty miserable team

  10. Depends on the injuries also ..some due back mid January efford in particular,he was finding his feet and playing well at the time of his injury, mugabi will push the guys on who are already playing, granted we don't have a strong bench so one of each, defender, midfielder, striker,we already have big fella from Sligo, let's see wot the window brings

Probably, sort of suggests the manager is also writing off the game.

Wouldn't exactly say writing the game off, apart from KVV that is arguably our strongest 11 available and maybe playing KVV up front on his own is just a waste, also opting for deano to make up the numbers in midfield makes sense..once again I live in hope

Appreciate your view spud but I don't think fighting is a word that can be attributed to KVV, just never looks up for it and hardly breaks sweat. If injured then best not starting

I get that, but the option may b an even less fit Louie moult.

Ah well closer than I expected but I am sick and tired with the cheap goals we are conceding, Slattery shocking for first and Penney just needs a simple throw back to Lamie.

KVV misses great chance and just spends full half jogging not in the least bit interested, just my opinion and you don't need to agree but as a lone striker he is just wasted as workrate is shocking.if he is injured then he shouldn't be starting,

We keep losing my odd goal so we aren't far away but we really need a big confidence boost on Saturday and then get Louis fit during world cup break.  COYW

U have to feel for KVV,clearly not fit as he only lasted a half..he's up top on his own fighting a losing battle unless the midfield help with the press u can't expect him t chase down 2centre halfs n a goalkeeper even when we did get the ball over the top he couldn't out run carthorse vickers

I thought we actually did ok tonight. They're clearly a level above us when it comes to ball control and speed of movement and thought. I thought we looked like a better team with the really high press early on, only thing is, that's hard as fuck to sustain  for 90 mins cause it's knackering.  Having said that, the goals we lost were preventable, but the second in particular is the kind of things that happens when you push up chasing an equaliser.

Dare I say it"we looked better without KVV",though I think the shape changed slightly in 2nd half
