To be fair if this new one had an amber back panel then it would be better, in my opinion of course.
-
That’s an away kit though, this one is supposed to be our home/first kit. I appreciate that many will love it and each to their own but for me it’s just too much of a removal from a proper Motherwell FC first kit.
-
Awful. Far too much claret and not enough Amber. At least our ‘Jester’ kit of 96-98 gave us an equal measure of both our home colours. Easily our worst home kit in years.
-
I’m not a fan of re-signing former players usually but he might be worth a punt if he can maintain any sort of fitness. He’ll be 33 in August so probably has another year or two in him. I wouldn’t be against Murphy coming back.
-
That training top is cracking, a must have when it’s released. As for the new kit I have a feeling we’ll sadly be seeing a return of white shorts after a season without them. Over the past four/five years we have tended to alternate between claret shorts one season and white ones the next and I expect that trend to continue.

Ahh I get you now, sorry. I thought you were talking about Davis.
-
His birthday is January (01/01/85). I agree with the rest though would GA play him when needed? With his track record of tinkering and Davis’ age then who knows. All hypothetical though unless he actually comes here.
-
Even at 37 he is still head and shoulders above any of our current midfield options. If there is even the remotest possibility that we could sign Steven Davis then we should jump at it.
-
What a season that was! Can’t wait for the DVD release to re-live it all again.
-
We beat them 2-1 at Parkhead in late 2015, Moult double. That was our last win against them.
-
1-0 Ross County We really are jammy bastards!

The fact that we have ‘qualified for Europe’ (which is of course a massive thing for the club) with this team and manager and taking until May to win more than one league match this year says more about the standard of the rest of the league than it does about anything we have ‘achieved’. The football we have played this season and in particular since the turn of the year has been every bit as bad as what we got under Robinson in 18/19 which you absolutely slaughtered him for on a regular basis. We have Tony Watt to thank for never mind being top six, but for not being in serious relegation trouble just now. And as I type, 4-0. Still, #We’re all going on a European tour#
-
I’d imagine this will be it’s final outing today. Don’t know why we are wearing it though as there is no colour clash.

Game over.
-
7-0 Celtic.

“Oh ho ho it’s magic, you know oh ho” Hearts won’t be singing/blasting that tonight. Get it right up them! Great result for us, after a pretty dismal season we’ve got a tangible reward.
-
Well. It’s unbelievable that we are in Europe after the season we’ve just had, but we are. Well done all involved, whatever anyone thinks about how we achieved it or how it happened, we managed it and that is massive for us as a club.
-
Pretty poor stuff so far from us. The goal apart we have offered very little and look very slack and panicky whenever they are in the final third. Still in it though.
-
The club Twitter definitely didn’t have KvV on the bench when the team was first announced. That must have been a late change. He’s clearly not match fit either way.
-
On the plus side Hearts appear to be resting a few players as they have no Gordon, McKay, Souttar or Simms in their starting line up. If there is going to be a winner in this one it’ll be by a single goal, hopefully we can nick it.
-
No KvV, not even on the bench! I take it he’s injured??
-
Watt was good for us when he was here and if it weren’t for his goals in the first half of the season then I dread to think where we’d currently be sitting. I think we were also a good match for him after being at several clubs over the years without settling anywhere. Sadly though he did as all players do and chased the bigger pay cheque and that’s why he’s gone. No hard feelings toward him from me, he was good for us while he was here but he’s past tense now.
-
0-0 draw.
-
Yeah regardless of whatever side of the ‘Alexander Out’ debate you sit on, he will not be sacked any time soon. We are never in a million years going to sack a manager who has got us a top six finish and the potential for European qualification. You can argue, justifiably so IMO, that that does nothing more than paper over ever growing cracks but the reality is GA is going nowhere and we need to accept that. Personally what I am pinning my (faint) hopes on is that somehow after a good summer and pre-season we can get some better fare next season, both with performances and consistency.

Massive three points indeed. Kelly again the hero, he really is an excellent goalkeeper.
