  1. Unchanged starting 11 from Tuesday night.
  2. It definitely won’t be easy as Hibs are a decent side and our record in Edinburgh is poor. I don’t see us winning today but a point isn’t beyond us imo.
  3. Yeah I’m actually quite looking forward to today. Tuesday night was a real tonic for the team and support and you’d imagine a confidence booster going into this one. I’m confident we can get something today.
  4. Not according to the Edinburgh trams website they’re not. It tells to you take the tram to St.Andrew’s square then walk for 7 minutes to York Place. edinburghtrams.com
  5. I don’t think the trams are running as far as York place just now.
  6. I think that’s the best option for anyone driving through tomorrow. Either Ingliston or the Gyle Centre for parking for the tram then stay on it as far as you can go, which I’m sure is still St.Andrew’s Sq which leaves about a 20 minute walk to the ground from there.
  7. I see Celtic are appealing McGregor’s red card from Saturday even though it was a blatant professional foul to stop a clear goal scoring opportunity. No surprises to be honest and nor will there be when it is overturned.
  8. After Joe Hart’s ridiculous display of play acting against us the other day it’s hugely satisfying seeing him sell the jerseys for Celtic in the CL tonight. You couldn’t fall about like a starfish to save your team tonight ya big giraffe necked head & shoulders prick.
  9. That was the difference last night, we took our chances when they came. We were poor in the first half but getting the penalty and more importantly scoring it gave us that platform to build on. Once we got the second goal there was only going to be one result last night and you could see us grow in confidence from that point. I said this a few weeks ago that had we scored any of our chances against Dundee Utd and had KvV stuck away his chance against Hearts then we would not have lost either of those games. As it was you could see the frustration creep in especially to Van Veen in the Utd game and when we went 0-1 behind against Hearts our heads dropped and we were never likely to come back. My point being that scoring the first goal is hugely important for this team.
  10. Thinking of heading through for this one. Enjoy an away day in Edinburgh even though it is against the poor relations and Easter Road lacks the charm and aura of Gorgie. This will be a tough one but hopefully last night gives us the confidence to believe we can get a result but I think we’ll need to score first if we are to get something here. I reckon we’ll see the same starting eleven barring injuries. Fancy a draw, 2-2.
  11. Not a League match but we beat Livingston 5-0 away from home in the League Cup in 2004 and Livingston were in the top flight at the time. The closest I can think of in the league was the aforementioned 5-1 at Inverness in 2012 and a 4-0 win at Tannadice in McGhee’s first spell in 2009.
  12. That’s fair enough. Goals change games and results change seasons, if you excuse the clichés. Our biggest weakness has clearly been up front and our inability to score goals outwith penalties or own goals, is something which was very much still a valid concern at HT tonight. However our second half display and the goals we scored are definitely signs of encouragement in that regard.
  13. A win tonight was always going to be huge. To win 5-0 is the stuff of dreams! Someone said on here recently that some team was going to take an absolute drubbing off us and whoever that was had been proved right tonight. We’re going to be just fine this season.
  14. Smashing stuff. Potentially a season defining night this!
  15. The three of them will be desperate to get on the scoresheet. Great that we have these options from the bench.
  16. This is incredible stuff. It’s like the Dundee Utd game in reverse with us actually putting our chances away.
  17. Far too passive in the middle, we’re just not in it.
  18. Great to see our top scorer van Veen(pen) back on the scoresheet. But in all seriousness they all count and that was a beautifully taken penalty. Cool as you like.
  19. Looks ridiculous. Almost the entire stand lying empty while the small band of away fans are shoved away in the corner. That puts our putting small away supports in the top tier of the South Stand into perspective.
  20. I’d imagine Shields is starting as we’re short of options up front. Moult is clearly still not match fit and Aarons is out altogether.
  21. Slattery and Efford start, Maguire and Cornelius benched.
  22. We need to sharpen up up front and we need to win this game. 2-1 with a KvV penalty and Moult winning it late on for us.
