A very poor first half, helped along by a referee who thinks every fall is a foul... and we (Slattery) is every bit as guilty as Utd. Hopefully a HT shake-up, coz that ain't winning any game.

I came across this analysis on X by @johnwalker_1986 and was going to share on the Hibs thread, but this seems a more appropriate place given it shows how much of a transformation has taken place in such a short period of time. Frankly, it's astonishing; < Motherwell: Dominating Without the Ball A lot of praise has rightly went to Motherwell & Jens Berthel Askou for their work "With the Ball" but last night was a clinic on how to control a game "Without the Ball". Hibs Analysis > Wing-Backs High & Wide to Deliver > Hanley "Limited" Distribution Quality > Barlaser Key in Building Through Lines Motherwell Press: > Leave Hanley Spare > Front 2 Pressing Outside CB's > Just Blocking Barlaser > Triggers to Jump on Hanley After Bushiri Pass inside > Frustrates Wing-Backs to Drop Deeper & Deeper Just Intelligence & Scanning Elijah Just is one of the signings of the season, he has absolutely everything but last night his intelligence and technical ability without the ball was exceptional: > Regularity of Scanning for Barlaser > Blocks Barlaser & Creates Chances to Jump > Wins Penalty & Scores off the Back of that work Work-Rate When Broken Albeit happened only once in the 30mins the game was 11v11, it helps when players work-rate is at such a high intensity when Hibs did break through, Motherwell got back behind the ball & forced an error. Best Coached Side in the Country Currently 👌 >

Yeah, agree. I think the editing process will generally mean we don't get to see the real us. Highlights tend to focus on the lead-up to shots on goal / goals, but a lot of our intricate passes (lovely to watch as it is) doesn't actually lead to that.

Whilst I agree with your statement, I absolutely do not believe the technology used in Scotland can prove this beyond doubt.

He looked like a man, whom never having played football, drunkenly agreed to play with his mates. Waking up with a dreadful hangover, and struggling to understand why the fuck he had agreed to something so silly, he didn't want to let his mates down. So, despite his reservations, he put his dad's old Samba's on and did his best to impersonate a footballer. And fooled no one. Onwards to Wednesday!

This is now a must win game... As in, at least someone must win. Everything to come together and comfortable win for the good guys.

"I don't think any players will improve if I only talk in clichés and headlines". 👌 This is getting into marriage proposal territory.

927 apparently. Hopefully take a bumper crowd up to Perth next week and exercise last seasons demons.

Continuing to play Watt as a lone striker is absurd, even at this stage of the season, and especially in a dead-rubber... And that's not intended as a slight on the player. Glad that this will be the last time I watch this particular flavour of The Well, onwards to the next.

Peter Zeidler. 62 year old German, formerly of Bochum and St Gallen amongst various others. Likes to wear a black skip cap to hide a big nose, but leaves his largish ears exposed (no offence intended Herr Zee). Known to enjoy sitting in the cauld, might also enjoy managing Motherwell.

Sadly, it's not just today.

I don't post much, but just wanted to check that every cunt is ok? Viva Motherwell

I've no idea how anyone can think that depriving the team of your support, whilst giving those at the root of your grievance a significantly easier day at the office, is a particularly effective protest. Then again, I've no idea why anyone can think stealing a drum from someone makes them a football fan.

The fella dressed up as SOd gets my vote.

Let the boycotters boycott, and the supporters support. Viva Motherwell.

The stairs in the Cooper look superb.

Excellent performance on a top quality surface, we're now motoring along nicely and should take a right few off Thistle next week. I feared we would lose a bit when we lost the highly impressive Paton in the engine room, but Halliday took us to another level, they both carried young Miller and he'll learn a lot from these top pro's. It's also clear to see that our front line has bags of goals in it, the inter-changing passing and dynamic movement was a joy to watch. A really well organised defence and excellent goalkeeper stopped this from being a rout. Big shout out as well to the ref, he really is one of the best in the game. What a fucking time to be alive.

Naw... Really?

I'm beginning to sense that you're not a fan of SK.

Without doubt, the end of this game is the closest I've ever come to a mangasm at the fitba.

Apologies, I thought this was a vote for the best.
