  1. Manager has been getting points so it's hard to argue with team selection. But who's to say we wouldn't get points with McKinstry playing in this formation. He's never been given the opportunity. To me he's way more than winger. Best player we have. Scored 4 goals when we were playing shit. Always bust a gut for Hamill. Many in our current team threw Hamill under the Bus by not trying.
  2. Not a single shot on or off target. Back to be a team of triers with zero creative talent. Absolute dross.
  3. Just noticed. Auld buggers like me still say Tin Hat LOL. anyway, only in SPFL or Scottish Football would we say that players are still learning their trade at 20. in other countries especially Europe they're in the first team from any age.
  4. Hard to come on when 2 nil down and be expected to turn the game. Ball retention? he's the only player we have that can take a touch and look up.
  5. Don't know what Hammil was playing at. Twice McKinstry had to come on a half time. 2 nil down both times. Says a lot about his initial line up. By the way I never said I'd drop Spittal. He's done well last 2 games with his battling qualities especially after been booed and told to f'k off every game for weeks by our so called fans. Shows great character. Fans love someone kicking the ball out for a throw in especially when it's a slide tackle. Gets the loudest cheer of the day. I'd always find a space for our best creative players. Hard graft without someone that can do something different only lasts so long.
  6. If we keep up winning then great. but the balls still a hot tattie. Still need to create more. Think McKinstry would be ideal for playing behind front 2 in a 3-4-1-2 formation. See things early and knows where the goal is.
  7. Slowest defense and midfield we could've played.
  8. Most defensive team of the season so far. This will be a real cracker to watch. Kettlewell desperate for the job so making sure it's a real aerial battle. Wee question to the interim manager. Who the f'k is actually going to take a touch on the ball and look up. Dreadful. Fear the worse.
  9. Scunnered at the situation within the club. That could've been the reason for Penney's drop in form. Slip it in to midfield and they take that long to decide what to do the momentum is lost. Central defenders should take at the very most 3 touches. 2 normally. Watch ours. Opposition defense is set before they've made their mind up. Look how quick Raith broke.
  10. All this we need a manager to motivate the players. if players look like they need motivated then hunt them to f'k and put the youth team in.
  11. Won't go down. Just have some courage on the ball. Raith played us off the park because they had players that were comfortable on the ball. They did not have better players than us just more confidence. Hot potato stuff in midfield. may lose the odd ball but it's still way better than the lump up the pitch. Get it wide and play ffs.
  12. And what did he do. Drop the most creative player we have. Twice now. It's no coincidence that we've hardly had a shot not on target but any shot since McKinstry got left out.
  13. Same style as Alexander. Head high passes from midfield.
  14. Players travelled through the night. Down to our bare bones. So I'll drop McKinstry because he actually looks like he could score. F'k off.
  15. Something absolutely stinks. Who's picking the team. Slattery & Goss? Hammy said players had travelled through the night. So he drops the only player we have that can look up and play a pass and create. Best player we've had all season. That statement (excuse) alone tells me everything and could cost him his job.
  16. I'm afraid starting 3 new players all at once exposes the lack of experience Hammy has. As for dropping McKinstry, absolute madness. Only one that looks like scoring last week. Last time McKinstry was sub Hammy had to put him on at half-time and he won Motherwell's man of the match (again). Although that isn't hard these days. As an aside. Did Van Veen have a single shot at St Mirren?
  17. Days of hard b'stard managers are long gone. Precious players take the huff and down tools. They'll always get another team. That's difficult to manage when you've on money to replace them. Look at Aberdeen.
  18. He's plenty composure. Always seems to have time on the ball. Both feet. Great signing. Remember when he joined apart from a handful of minutes in Leeds first team he'd only played Under 23's. Almost up to speed now. He's our go to man for creativity. Midfield don't find him often enough.
  19. He's certainly went back the way defensively.
  20. English National League should be looked at
  21. McKinstry was and is most weeks the only player that has time on the ball. it's like a hot potato with every other player. So it's also a shit goal. Wow. You must be a real laugh at party's. Lamie kicked the ball into touch twice last week under no pressure. Very low in confidence. it was also more than one mistake against Hibs. Centre back pairing is not working.
  22. Must be kids ready to break through that are good on the ball and play at the back.
