Just finished watching on Alba, very happy with the performance, brilliant to see the team bounce back after a couple of disappointing results.
Faddy was magnificent today, great to watch. Was delighted he got a goal after setting up the 1st 3.
Loved big Hutchie's run forward in the 79th minute, brought a big smile to my face

Just back in to see the scores, dismal stuff all round.
Hopefully McCall gets tore right in to them & they come out & run riot in the second half. Big test of character, they've shown they can respond before, really need to show it again tonight.
-
Disappointing but pleased with the 2nd half performance. Showed they've still got fight & determination in them under difficult circumstances.
On to the next game & hopefully a better result.
-
Lastly a huge thanks to the groundsman, his staff and volunteers. Due to your efforts the club's cashflow situation has eased and we picked up 3points.
+1. Well done to all involved.

Think that's a very sensible move, hopefully see a lot of people who weren't in a position to make the lump sum payment getting on board.
-
I'd maybe put Martin in for Craigan but that's possibly because he played in 2 of my favourite seasons when I was going to most games home & away.
To be fair I think that's a pretty good 9.

The figures re season tickets must be wrong surely? That would suggest we have nearly 6000 season ticket holders I would have thought around 35% of season ticket base...
I'm a member of the society but not a season ticket holder & I'm sure there are a fair amount of others in this category.
Think it may just be worded badly & they mean 22% of season ticket holders are also members of the society.

Wondered where all the added time came from. Just watched the game on BBC Alba and the ref added on a total of 9 minutes to normal time - 4 minutes at end of first half and 5 minutes at the end of the second half. I think the first half stoppage was about right due to time used getting Jack treated and subbed but where did he get 5 minutes in the second half?
Thought it was about right to be honest, was expecting 5 or 6.

Going for McManus, won everything that came near him & put his body on the line to make a few vital blocks. Scored at the right end as well!

Gutted to lose that late goal but a point was probably a fair result overall.
Goalkeeping situation yet again a big factor, God how I would love to have Randolph back right now.
Got to say Lawson didn't cover himself in glory at the 1st, looked as slow as a week in the jail, should've dealt with it with ease. Gunnar palming another straight out into a central area is unacceptable though. The less said about his 'punch' the better.
Not the best performance but can't fault the team for guts & determination, thought big Mick was immense.
Will finish off by saying, referee - wank!

Going to switch myself off from the world so can watch it on Alba later without knowing the score.
If we score the shittest goal ever scored to win 1-0 in the worst game of football ever played, I will be over the moon!

Sorry for lack of updates, it's literally been all hands to the pump (including the people who usually update twitter)...
Referee had an inspection and is happy for the groundstaff to keep working on the pitch. As long as the rain stays off, all should be good.
From @MotherwellFC
Well done to everyone working hard to try & get the game on.

I've tweeted this and it's been picked up by Celtic's SLO which I assume stands for Security Liaison Officer or something.
Anyway, they say they are working to find a solution for next time and also to contact any disabled supporters affected at the game to issue a refund.
If you have any details you want me to pass on, I don't mind following this up for you.
Good stuff Eddie.

Unbelievable, truly shocking.
Maybe contact the Motherwell Times to see if they'll run it?

Keith showing his class. From Evening Times
No problem with Stokes, says LasleyKEITH LASLEY has revealed that he has no hard feelings towards Celtic hitman Anthony Stokes.
The Motherwell skipper was cleaned out by the Hoops striker in the 80th minute of Celtic's 3-0 win over Well at Parkhead on Saturday, with Stokes immediately shown a straight red by referee Bobby Madden for his crude tackle.Yet while admitting his relief that he was not on the end of a serious injury, Las says that Stokes' challenge goes with the territory and the Well midfielder accepts that he has also got it wrong in the hurly-burly of life in the SPFL Premiership boiler room.
The Motherwell captain said: "Football is a physical game and challenges are there to be made and if you take that out of the game what do you have left? I have no problem with Anthony Stokes' challenge, he went for the ball and mistimed it and that is that.
"Obviously I am relieved that I just have some bruising to show for it. I'm also relieved that I am not going to be out for a good while, because that is always the worry when you know you are on the end of a sore one.
"But at the same time I have made plenty of these and it goes with the territory when you are in the midfield. So there are certainly no problems on my behalf and it is on to the Aberdeen game."
But Las admits that he has been stung by some of the comments made by TV pundits who have suggested that Stokes' shocker was retribution for a challenge he made on Celtic defender Adam Matthews, back in October, that resulted in the Welsh international sustaining a fractured collarbone.
Las said: "I think my tackle on Adam Matthews was a totally different thing, so I was a bit disappointed to hear some of the suggestions being made on TV over the weekend that the two were related.
"It is very disappointing when you hear comparisons being drawn like that and I don't think for one minute that was the case. Comments like that on TV don't help things. But that is football for you. It is a game full of talking points and without that the game would be a lot less colourful."
Despite the fact Well have now played the Hoops three times this term and conceded 10 goals without reply, en route to three heavy defeats, Las reckons there were positives that can be taken from this latest bout of purgatory in Paradise.
The Fir Park ace said: "I think the two big positives for us were that we created clear-cut chances against Celtic and that we did not capitulate in the second half after going in 2-0. In fact, we had a chance to pull one back at two down and if that had gone in then it is adifferent match.
"So we move on and with Aberdeen next at Fir Park we have a huge game to look forward to."

It's a shame we didn't get the 7 wins in a row, if the ICT game hadn't been called off I really think we would have done.

3-1 to Aberdeen.
Surprising

Just been looking on the match thread on P&B & there's a gif on there of the Stokes tackle.
Looks definite red, studs up & no intention of going for the ball for me, catches Las on the ankle.
I know I'm biased but can see why the ref sent him off.
-
Always disappointing to lose but none of our rivals gained on us so not the worst day after all.
Hoping we can get the same reaction we did after the last defeat to Celtic, a win next week would be massive.
-
2-0 down & most likely game over but we've actually played reasonably well & had some chances.
Feel sorry for big Gunnar but we really need a better keeper.
-
Surely it will be Carswell at right back and the same shape we used at Firhill.
That's also a possibility, but I'd say that was a more attack minded line up & I just don't see him going for it at Parkhead. Think he'll want Carswell battling in the midfield.
-
Looks like will be Hammell at RB & ZFA at LB.
Motherwell: Nielsen, Hammell, Hutchinson, McManus, McFadden, Sutton, Vigurs, Lasley, Francis-Angol, Carswell, Ainsworth
Motherwell subs: Stewart, Lawson, Kerr, Moore, Murray, Anier, Leitch

Got to go for Faddy, never stopped running & harassing their defence all game.
Setup first 2/3 & put the icing on the cake by scoring the 4th.
