Elbow in the baws is an elbow in the baws. No hiding from that. The boy knew he was fucked with his reaction. End of the day Goodwin is an absolute shite bag. Came to Fir Park for a draw. No believe in his team. I give him two weeks.
-
They could do the double, that’s the question though, do you take potential cup success over long term success in the league. Hard one to pick to be honest.
-
Reading the Pie and Bovril thread got me thinking. Would you: A. Take a cup win and a potential relegation dog fight in the league with the risk of relegation in the play off and add to that nearly a full season of poor football. Also a manager out of ideas and the team turning stale and need a full re build in the summer. or B. No cup win, but an incredible season of high quality football week in week out with the genuine chance of winning the title and a complete change in football philosophy at the club that could be implemented into the future. What would you pick?!!
-
Dundee Utd have improved slightly, but I think we might have enough to see them off at home. They also have the cup game the weekend after to think about…might rest some players.
-
That was an absolute joy to watch. Probably the best footballing performance from any team in the league this season.
-
Got one thanks!

How do you buy tickets for this game?

Obviously winning a cup is better than European games and I really doubt Jen’s was thinking that when he selected his team. He has rotated before and it’s been very successful so he maybe felt fresh legs would have made more impact. As I’ve said before the red cards killed his game plan and he spent the rest of the game trying to adjust to things outwith his control. I get emotions are high, but take a step back and look at how the game went and ask yourself was that down to team selection or was it just a really unlucky series of events that went against us.
-
A habit? What does that even mean! So a red card 4 years ago in the first minute under a totally different manager and team is a habit 😂 Oscar slipped, it wasn’t like he did anything bad. The reaction to this game has been off the scale.

I have seen lots of posts like this tonight. The game was massively effected by the red cards, we spent most of the first half trying to adjust to their 11 men and then the last 10 trying to force our way back into the game, there was no rhythm to it due to this. Then JBAs game plan is effected straight after kick off in the 2nd. If it was 11-11 all night and he played poor then fair enough, but throwing players under the bus based on what happened tonight is really unfair in my opinion.

I think it’s a bit hard to blame the team selection when the game plan goes out the window after two minutes. We don’t know if it was going to work. Connelly other than that one mistake with the pass was excellent tonight. Once it goes to 10-10 we looked like we were getting back into the game and then the second red which to me was just mental. He wasn’t the last man and has two covering defenders ahead of the striker. It’s a really odd decision, similar to the Celtic one earlier in the season that was also not a red. Game is done once we go down to 9, but we still created a few chances. I agree you maybe go with your best side, but we could still have gone down to 9 with that team too. Hard to criticise team selection based on the way the game went.

We missed Fadinger today. That’s the first time in a while a team has had a good bit of joy in the midfield against us. positives were Longelo looking really positive going forward and also our subs looked excellent, they combined really well to help us over the line Going to be tough in Pittodrie but I think today will give the team lots of confidence going into the cup tie. As for the league, we are in the mix, no doubt about it. Win our game in hand and it’s all to play for.

I imagine there will be be some changes. A lot of games coming up. Aberdeen are a bit of an unknown as they have signed lots of players, but I think they got battered of Killie 3-0 in their last game and they still don’t have a manager…
-
Big shout out to Slattery who was outstanding tonight.
-
Brilliant tonight. Maybe in hindsight he should have started Preistman ahead of Watt, but those the breaks. To see them time wasting early in the second half tells you all you need to know.
-
I’m not sure I can cope with this length of time not watching Motherwell. In the immortal words of Renton. I need a fucking hit!
-
It’s really harsh to blame Dundee for this. They sorted new drainage and a whole new root system for the pitch, but it’s rained pretty much non stop for weeks up there. Clearly couldn’t cope as there was no dry spell to soak some of it up.
-
I think we can get third place. We will catch one of the three. that’s my gut feeling.
-
Hearts once again looking awful and down to 10 men. So no doubt will win 1-0 in the 96th minute 😂
-
We have had a wee bit of luck in the last two games. On another day Killie goal would have stood and that Livi boy slots away that easy chance and then both those games become very different. But after those scares we have gained total control in both and strolled it. I fully expect the same on Wednesday, just not the slow start please! Dundee have been probably the worst team I have seen at Fir Park this season. I know they have improved recently but so have we since the last time we played them. No manager in the country knows how to deal with our front three of Just, Tawanda and Said. They are running riot.
-
Less police needed if they are up top

We are in a very fortunate position where we now have a number players who could easily go for fees in the not too distant future. In years gone past we might have one or two who might go for a big fee, right now I could count 5 or 6 could go for a fee. Maswanhise, Watt, Fadinger Just and Said.
-
Killie gave us problems in the first 25 minutes, but we also had some very good chances, and looked like we could score on every attack. Once the game turned on their offside goal and we got our goal they fell apart and were awful. We scored some outstanding goals today. Priestman is class.

Neil McCann mate. Neil McCann

I’d agree with this, if we could keep hold of this group then I really believe we can achieve so much. I don’t think any manager in Scotland in a long time has achieved what Jen’s has. Teams can go on winning runs, but for me it’s the consistency of our play and the ability rotate players into this system is unmatched. Also the signings have been outstanding. Example being Preistman who I think is a star in the making.
