Suck it up boys and accept our fate we are the worst team in the league atm and have been for around a year now. We have Hammel as our manager, who like the previous manager will not introduce the young players and persists with the failures and unless he elects to walk away he will still be there at the end of the season. As I've said before our next manager is already in the door Kettlewell so just accept our fate calm down, shut you're eyes until we can clear our the dross that pose as a first team.

I'd say that we would be mad to part with Hammel we saw fit to give him the job and now have to give him time to turn it around. Which means at least a season. If it means we drop into the championship then so be it i don't see bringing in someone new next month would make any difference and it would send a bad message out about our club When he was appointed the style of play and results were much improved however lately they have dipped now whether that is lack of personal or development i'm not sure but time will tell. Other concerns relate to the lack of integration of our younger players which he heralded when he was appointed and considering our lack of depth in the squad i'd have thought it was the ideal opportunity to bring on these players. However Hammel has stuck with the same group in general so i take it from that we don't have any players capable which is a worry considering he was in charge of youth development at the club. However some good discussion o this thread

Any decent Manager would keep a bang average team in this league its very poor as our European exploits prove year in and out. I'd go as far as say they would challenge for 3rd easily

I'd take Turnbull in a heartbeat he has the ability to save our season again but doubt it would happen

Why would we offload Shields if he's Championship quality we will need him next season. I cant believe that i'm the only one saying Goss (cant tackle a fish supper) and Slattery (falls down when challenged)are the ones that need to go. A team stands or falls on the spine this year Kelly has gone backwards, CB are poor but we need stability which we have not had, C Midfield pair constantly let runners run off them, and We only have VV Up top who blows hot and cold and has lacked any meaningful support. Its time to ditch this failed bunch bring in the youths and rebuild for the championship

Straight to the championship do not pass go do not collect £200 and all i can say is its not a disaster its a requirement to reset this club of ours. We have been going nowhere for far too long now. It will stop all this punching above our weight talk when i believe we should have been saying we are a well established Scottish Premier League Club.
