  1. He did struggle first half, but the issue wasn't the 'sun' - it was Dunne's selective blindness. He was continually unmarked on the left touchline, only for Dunne to ignore him for literally the whole of the first half, despite being the obvious out ball - deciding to try and hit one of the front two. The one time he chose to pass to Frear - he was tightly marked
  2. ...... and a good one. They were absolutely dreadful to watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. You wouldn't have been saying that if you had been there last night - a f....n centre half that thinks he's half Pirlo and half Alonso, sadly he isn't close to being either.
  4. I know it's a game of opinions, but thank god you're not the manager - Oh and yes I do think you should visit SpecSavers.
  5. Seemed to be running on a 'short-fuse' at times yesterday. Might be a player in there though if that could be harnessed.
  6. Great read - keep up the good work 'Flow.
  7. Doubt they have the desire to meet anywhere close to our asking price.
  8. Can't agree with some of that assessment at all. Thought Livingston looked sharper and played around us, without really troubling our box, other than the shot that clipped the bar. Bigi tried hard, but at times looked overly lax in his passing. Tuton was strong and looked more than capable of causing defences up here problems. Thought Tanner did really well and looked nippy and tricky. Sorry but Rose for the large part was anonymous IMO. Dembele and Dunne (or is it really just Joleyn Lescott without the star trek mask) were strong and looked capable. Still very early days and keeping players sharp and fit is the reason for these games, long way to go, but the signs are encouraging.
  9. Wishing you much luck and success in your new role - Keith.
  10. SSN reporting Keith Lasley has retired from playing to take up Asst Manager role.
  11. Lol and ...... phew Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Are you being serious about Akinfenwa as a potential target? I love watching him, but f..k don't know if I'd want him anywhere near my team - some on here were almost apolplectic watching the mobility of Higdon and Sutton - I dread to think what sort of breakdown a signing like this would invoke in our support
  13. Was never gonna get that from XXL - XXXXL, maybe
  14. Ha Ha - maybe they did - now that is a tasty one and on Eleventh Night and all that entails. Could be carnage
  15. Linfield away on the 12th would be tasty
  16. Both were early heroes of mine - was devastated when Heron left to join Dumbarton. Was even more devastated when Watson became the 'scum' manager. That Spurs game was an absolute classic, my dad had to park beyond the Calder Glen and queues stretching for what seemed miles at the turnstyles. Oh for a return to those day's.
  17. Thankfully I'm beyond the age to buy and wear replica kits - but sorry both are boggin'
  18. Sorry mate - no idea. But what a cracking collection.
  19. Former Motherwell FC Players thread for this
  20. Couldn't agree more - most teams (including ourselves several years ago) would take that pitch at the START of a season - never mind at this stage, incredible.
  21. Sorry mate but that makes no sense at all - we can't attack both corners of the same wing - we have to defend one of them, therefore disadvantages the oppostion as much as it does us.
  22. Think this might be why - "Stewards and Police will be on hand to show you to your seats as there will be a strict allocated seating policy in operation" and at half-time they will distribute ice-cream at the aisle exits - just like the old day's at the cinema. This is gonna be fun.
  23. According to SSN Hartlepool have agreed a fee with Middlesbrough - £300K
