The way I saw it it was the management team and the players who delayed knocking the ball out that contributed to the delay in Josh going off - not the players fault. He indicated to the bench much earlier that he was struggling.

Agree with a lot of that - but these teams that you mention all seem able to produce/buy reasonable 'combatitive midfielders' - our scouting system in recent years has proven poor, particularly in that area - hopefully something McGhee can rectify.
