  1. best thread for such a long time !!!
  2. Estaban Casagolda is now officially my new hero !! Maros Klimpl has now been dropped
  3. brilliant news ! decent player with a fair bit of talent, glad to see the 3 year deal, and not the usual short term deal !! a few more like that and I'd be a happy man going into next season
  4. tough call tonight ....but Sutton just shades it for me. after 45 mins, he was the only one with passmarks in my book, worked tirelessly for the 2nd 45 as well. The Juke was a close 2nd ...what a goal ! Big Sutton was definitely MOTM though
  5. c'mon the 'Well !!!! lets cancel out calamity Frasers fuck-ups !!
  6. i hope your tongue is planted firmly in your cheek with that remark !? decent 2nd division keeper, below average 1st division keeper, absolutely terrible SPL keeper. and I'm one of the "happy clappy" brigade that doesnt hurl abuse at our own players, but he really is gash !
  7. I kinda agree with that, but thats why I think there should be more of an incentive by the club in regards to buying the season ticket. i dont know whether it should be a bigger discount, or extra cup games included (provided we progress), or something else ? i just feel that the INCENTIVE to buy a season ticket just isnt there anymore ....
  8. just interested to see how folks are voting with their wallets, as there has been a lot of talk of fans not renewing season tickets.
  9. whats that green stuff theyre playing on ? you would think they would at least put a wee bit of sand down for us !
  10. 2-1 to the well, with sutton to score 1st. 125-1 @ the bookies........£5 on it 'mon the 'Well !!!!
  11. took in my first game in a wee while today....poor show all round really, but Craigan looked to be the best of a bad lot today.
  12. I just had the pleasure of meeting Gregor Stevens today. an absolute gentleman !
  13. any sell on clause for us in the skippy deal ? possibility of a wee cash injection mibbe ?
  14. would rather stick pins in my eyes than have that sack of shit in the dug-oot !!! NAW
  15. +1 i wasn't overly impressed when I heard who we had, but like you, the more I think about it, the more I think they might just be suited perfectly to life at MFC just now ! time (and results) will tell !!
  16. no but if you want to return the favour it'll cost you a fortune !
  17. spot on !! I know one of the teachers involved with school fitba at Larkhall Academy, and he told me a while back that there used to be players that would come to the school and do a wee bit of coaching, but then it seemed to stop. He seemed well impressed with that kind of gesture at the time, coupled with discounted season tickets to thje schools, it can only be good to get that going again. one afternoon a week at a local school, even if its only every 3 months or so (rota type system?) can surely do no harm to the players training regime , but do the club the world of good in the long run . image is everything these days, so if Motherwell can get the stars of tommorow doing a wee bit of coaching in the schools today, then maybe it'll be Well players the kids recognise instantly instead of Kris Boyd and Aiden McGeady etc.
  18. open plan is definitely the way to describe them !! a brick wall behind a red ash mound ......can you imagine the uproar today if that was the "facilities"
  19. I know that opinions of John Boyle vary on here, but I was wondering if peoples attitudes are changing towards him ? he has made some monumental errors during his tenure, but has he learned from his mistakes ? wages, players, managers, ticketing, PR, and many other areas have caused serious friction and concern amongst fans, but has he turned a corner ? with the decision not to sell out to Coakley last year as he felt the best interests of the club were not foremost, the appointment of Leanne Dempster to improve the PR side of things, the Cooper finally being given back to Well fans, and Gannons sacking because of a lack of commitment and refusal to sign a contract, coupled with sensible wages and squad size ........are we on to a "good thing" with Boyle at the helm, or would some of you rather see a new face ? opinions please *****EDIT***** poll now added
  20. merry christmas everyone ......hope santa was good to you all !! I'm off to tuck into some festive fayre now ...indigestion will follow shortly !
  21. pretty much spot on there El Grew !!! +1 in Gannons camp here !
  22. been a we bit worried at the dip in our form lately, especially coming into a double header with the old firm, but I actually think that we might just get something from these games. so I am gonna go with a 2-2 draw, us leading and the mandatory late leveller for the tattie munchers !
