I dont see where anything he has actually said could be construed as BS ! I have been going to The 'Ark for over 30 years, and I have to agree with him that i have witnessed some of the best overall team performances in the last 2 seasons. FACT !! last season especially, we simply ripped the opposition to shreds, and as a lifelong Well fan, that was something that I had waited my whole life to see !!! Glad McGhee is here , and I'm hopeful that he's here for a long time to come ! I have seen some dross served up over the years, but since Mcghee has been here, I look forward to every game more than usual, granted we have off days (who doesn't??), but generally the football played under him has been far more attractive than anything I've watched in the last 30 years ! here's to a good few more sesons with McGhee at the helm !!!

on paper its not too bad an idea, in that we could have 6 teams fighting for the title and all the European runs that go with it, and the other 6 teams in a relegation dogfight, all fighting for SP(HEL)L survival. the reality though is somewhat far removed from the ideal, as most seasons the title will go to one of the Bigot Brothers and the other 4 are fighting for European scraps. and at the other end of the split you normally have 1 possibly 2 teams detatched at the bottom, facing almost certain relegation and the rest just seeing out the season by going through the motions !! like I said on paper its a great idea, in practice its shit !! Personally I think it has the potential to work in other countries with relatively small leagues, but ultimately they need to have a decent level of competition within the leagues (which is where ours fails badly). at the start of most seasons in the SPL you could pick the 2 title contenders, and pick 2 or 3 teams that will be involved in a relegation fight, and probably go as far as picking the 2 or 3 that will be involved in fighting for a European slot !! Highly predictable league, but then again you could probably say the same about the Premiership !??

OK so it wasn't so much a bad day at the office, as a complete no show from 95% of the team, but already we've got people on here masquerading as 'Well fans, calling for McGhee's resignation, wage reduction etc etc. Others are now talking about not turning up to the last 5 games.....?? Now I'm as dissapointed as the rest of you, but FFS WE ARE THE WELL !! this is how we do it, "The Rollercoaster" and all that !! Maybe its time to get off the players and Managers backs, they will be as gutted as us, and maybe ,just maybe this will be a wee well deserved kick up the arse that they all need ?? Personally I have supported the team when we've been worse than this, and will still be supportin them in thye future no matter how bad we play !! its in the blood !! Get behind the team and enjoy whats left of our season, coz its boring as hell for long enough through the summer !! rant over 'Mon the Well

so for a top 6 place its down to these 2 games. Hibs also play these 2 in the last 2 games before the split . so the question is ..... ....can we get a better result against these 2 than Hibs can against the same 2 teams ?? it a tough call, and to be honest I'm not all that confident !!

every story has 2 sides !! don't think anyone is in a position to judge until you know the facts from both sides. who's to say that the 16 year old in the house with his mother and siblings wasn't behind something nasty himself ? no background to the story !! this 16 year old might be an ASBO on legs, but with only one side being reported its impossible to tell ! I've been guilty of kicking in a door in the past myself , ....I was retreiving some of my cousins stuff from her flat after we found out her partner had being battering her for years !! that could have been reported the same way with me being a bad 'un for kicking in a door , theft ? and threatening behavior !! no mention of her ex being an abusive wife beater !!! anybody see my point ?? 2 sides to every story , impossible to judge hearing only one side

born into a 'well supporting family (both parents and grand-parents!!) so it really was a no-brainer for me !! coming from Law originally, the pressure was on as most of the kids at school with me were Rangers fans. went to a few games with my mum early on, but started to go on my own when we were 1st division, and earliest memories are of the 84-85 season when we won promotion. apparently my first game was against Coventry but i dont remember it !! the earliest game I remember was against the mighty Ajax but I cant for the life of me remember when it was !! will guess at late 70's family tradition has been passed down and now I've got 2 boys (9 year old and 3 year old ) both of them 'Well fans (aint easy in Larkhall you know ) and both had their first games aged 2 !!!
