  1. It’s not working at the moment . Here is my opinion on the rest of your post. Louis Moult - clearly a gamble but one most fans were willing to take . Sign yourself up for the hindsight police. Van Veen- doesn’t need to be another striker that plays off him, it just needs to be someone that isn’t Connor Shields Solhom - poor positioning yes sometimes but he is great at headering the ball - does your seat face the pitch ? McGinn - enough chances LOLZ - the guy is 8/10 every week. Get yourself off to Specsavers . Slattery - he has been off the pace last few games but we are generally a better side with him in the engine room Spittal - he played 2 great throughballs in the first half alone but we didn’t capitalise . Looked gubbed after 60 mins and should have been taken off Barry McGuire - I’m not a fan but he’s there to provide squad cover and come on late in a game to shore us up - not required recently as we are never in front. Neil Lennon - the guy is a weapon with well publicised personal issues he should be nowhere near any dugout far less ours.
  2. I thought Stephen came across very well. He is hardly going to tell the press that the players are pish and the team shape is a shambles. He is trying to lift the malais caused by months of poor results and be positive. Let's judge him on the next couple of games eh?

    Jake Taylor

He is the 100% opposite of what we need in the middle of the park. He is small in stature, weak in the air, a poor to non- existent tackler and when he actually has the ball he is a coward - he off- loads the way he is facing as soon as he gets it. Total dogshit
  4. I'm always usually a large. I've actually lost a bit of timber in the past few months but the new large was skin tight so went for the XL which is a 42 inch chest and a good fit.
  5. Samson is honking. He's been sheeeite every time I've seen him. On a par with big Gunnar. I really hope this is just a rumour.
  6. I was in the club shop at lunchtime and picked up a new home shirt. I measured the chest on large and it was 38 inches. I bought the XL which was a 42 inch chest. All my other tops are large so yes you need to go up one size IMO.
  7. Kilmarnock were cynical hammer throwers second half, they took turns at chopping us down and killed the momentum of the game.Ainsworth was the correct sub to bring on, the manager saw that we needed to stretch them a bit although it didn't quite come off. I see he is coming in for stick for holding back on a 50/50 challenge but some of our support need to realise that he doesn't have that type of dig about him. However he can be a match winner and we don't have too many players in our squad who can be described as such. To be frank if he had dig as well as a great engine for tracking back he would be playing at a far higher level than us.
  8. What a shift skippy put in today. He's a guy you want in the trenches with you. He turned bad balls into good ones brought others into play shouted and encouraged his team mates and nipped away at the ref the whole time he was on. He tracked back put in slide tackles and was always looking for the ball. We played 30 yards further up the park today because of him.

I voted Straker as his was a memorable performance. I arrived early on Saturday and watched him in the warm up. Said to my mate before kick off that he lacked any sort of balance and didn't appear to be able to make clean contact with the ball. If passing the ball out the park was a sport he would be the intergalactic champion.
  10. The rumour is the tattooed right back will be doing some porridge.
  11. Terrible pass aside I didn't think Kerr was that bad against Aberdeen Malky79 how did you manage to get a crack pipe into Fir Park? Kerr was dreadful, one tackle aside. He continually gave the ball away, no wonder Ainsworth looks scunnered with that total haddie behind him. I would too.
  12. I generally think that the top 6 split is a good idea as it generates plenty of 6 pointer type matches. However the fact that you only get a week or two's notice on the 5 fixtures mean that many folk with family and other commitments can't shuffle things around. I'm a season ticket holder but of the post split fixtures I can only make the Caley game.
  13. I'm afraid to say that Fraser Kerr is even more murder at right midfield than he is at right back. After his pitiful display against the mighty Albion Rovers (one of the worst I have seen in over 25 years of watching the Well) it is clear to me that he is miles away from top flight quality and is basically a waste of a wage.
  14. Guys does anybody know if you can still get into Fir Park after half time? I have a season ticket in the East Stand but my missus doesnt get home till half 8 and I need to look after the wee one.

I agree. It seems to me that there are people in the club hierarchy who do not fully understand our supporters, who by and large live amongst the worst that the green and blue side of Glasgow have to offer. We already know that we cannot match the finances of the big two from Glasgow, but I am of the opinion that the least we can expect from the players and management is that they will bust a collective gut when they take the field, in order to give the supporters something to be proud of. What I have seen in the last two games are players who to me appear to be going through the motions. How many tackles did our players make today? How many players did you see encouraging teammates/grabbing them by the throat etc? Spineless insipid garbage is what we have been served up, and as the OP said I would lay alot of this at the door of McCall and others at the club whose mentality when it comes to all things Rangers or Celtic is completely at odds with how our fans feel about these games. We do not want to hear any comments from our own bigging them up, thats the job of the Daily ferkin Record.
