  1. you got blinkers on claretband? current system is unfair, split grossly unfair on all counts, teams can be sparated by one point at split having played an inbalance of home away games, lower placed team loses out on income and potenial league/euro placings hell even the higher placed team can get screwed over in match scheduling as we did last season League championship cannot be classed as fair as on a basic level the 1st and 2nd teams havent even played the same fixtures over a season, in fact its completely random if you believe in the old SPL computer theory, so play offs are no worse than what is regarding sporting integrity and fairness I said I would only support play offs if they were laid down in advance and all was fair and balanced going into them teams then know what to aim for, large points advantage is not the aim, brings in many many permutations over the season that need to be managed by each club. meaningful games with competition is the only way pro football in Scotland will survive ( along with many other changes required) but without meaningful games and whole season competition there will be not enough commercial money to retain what we have , as gate income is drying up as the years go on, and more and more fans are staying away no matter what happens
  2. there is an e-mail address on the walk10for10 website for info http://www.walk10for10.com/
  3. I'm not sure how I'd view the play offs as being fair/unfair, I'd want the play-offs to be either neutral or home and away to keep that side of things balanced, and all the games played in the run up to plays offs to be balanced equally home and away to keep that side of things fair, other than that as has been said as long as its clear at the start of the competition then everyone knows whats being played for the system in place right now is fundamentally unfair in every way and shows there is no integrity in the current format from a sporting or business sense, so it would be hard to argue a new system would be detrimental in that sense
  4. the queue may have been people that had been unaware that the office was scheduled to be closed 12:30 until 14:30 presumably for the players and staff to have Christmas lunch together ( Wee Murph wasnt impressed ) some might have opted to hang back until the office opened

  6. must have thought you were phoning for Rangers end tickets
  7. how did you think he came across, I thought he sounded like a smug bastard that thought he was a shoe in for the job if the people concerned done their homework please God NO!
  8. correct thing to do over these allegations but I'm get the feeling our fans are getting kind of sick off MFC just getting cheated over and over again and rolling over to the authorities in public, even tho' in this case it may not be worth fighting the red card sometimes it creates more togetherness , when the club, takes the action the fans want. I'm sure Mr Boyle remembers the adulation when he took on Cardiff
  9. Nice to know about it 'Flow cheers for the update no response to the allegations you were meeting Mr Milne for a chat over lunch
  10. Cheers, wondered, still no quotes in there, would be nice for the real, official, 'Motherwell' to publish what the fek is happening
  11. has anyone else been having problems with the official site? its getting to the point I'm giving up on taking the time to show an interest as everytime I go on it , it takes fekin ages to load any article and quite often goes to a 'could not connect to server' error seems to be going backwards
  12. Where you getting these quotes from deJaya? maych reports somewhere? I've not seen anything from what has been getting pushed by MFC as the official sources, last thing on twitter is 82mins Jennings sent off and the offical site is well,....... 'poor' .......and when it is working I've not picked up on any statements
  13. this week or next week, we would still get beat, probably by more
  14. Brazilian

    Surreal

    This, almost guaranteed
  15. £80 for a concession but its doesnt list disabled as concession? I've been having a lot of problems with the official site for weeks now, kind off giving up worrying about it link here if it'll load before the game for you
  16. Just a wee update on this: As well as the sponsored strip this year , the excess raised, £50, has been put into the Youth Development Fund Christmas Raffle. I filled the 50 tickets out myself earlier, so keep an eye out for any list of winners that get published if you see my name it'll be a prize that one of the contributors for this season will win. as the draw for the MFC raffle isnt made until 26th December, I'll wait until its made before making the draw to see who wins the sponsors prize ( and any others) Cheers again, Iain
  17. Doesn't quite convey the 'anger' but certainly its close to my sentiments, well said Tam cant help thinking publishing the clubs phone number is a bit of a schoolboy error however
  18. in the short term, always impossible to predict how any indivdual game will affect others in the long run. and like watching the old firm losing, I'm quite happy to see the sheep lose to everybody for the remainder of the duo's term in charge. Sheepies relegated and Jambos going bust, will do just fine
  19. your words and Kmcalpins might sound dramatic, but just his may be closer to the truth than I suspect your sarcasm alludes to and nothing wrong with the sentiment everyone must be aware that things are 'tight' around Fir Park, and having made a loss in the last accounting year, that every pound is being chased to run the club as well as it can be cashflow cannot be great just now, no home game for over a month and that had only 3361 punters in the ground, how many woud have been season ticket holders? and now shedloads of outgoings Raffle tickets have now found the way to non-season ticket holders as well, so correctly are getting pushed to generate cashflow, ebay items ( dont forget the club were inviting direct bids for stuff not just listed items) . half season tickets, hospitality, sponsorship ........... anything that anyone can afford to contribute to, will help the club
  20. the club were doing quite good in the media but Mr B just has to push it further, and believes Aberdeen should delay the appointment until after the 18th
  21. Messrs Brown and Knox never lied to all of us by denying they spoke with said club quite a significant difference as well as the neverending Muttley celtic/bigger job hooring that went on
  22. Seem to be an awful lot of people getting the Catholic church and Celtic football club mixed up in this thread
  23. maybe makaveli was right and Bob Malcolm is on his way back
