  1. some of that might be accurate and most is true, sounds great doesn't it, will it be enough to offset the £600,000 loss we just declared and offset the loss of league sponsor money and continue to cover the Rangers game income, which wasnt really properly prepared for this season? haven't seen Armageddon mentioned, but being realistic and allowing the full picture to unravel would be nice instead of the couple of posts saying potential cuts are bullshit
  2. Think a few are taking the Lennon approach and forgetting who is voting I'm not surprised Hutchinson is included, its been voted for by fellow pro's, and when filling out a voting sheet they are going to skim though the lists of players and spot the most competitive they play against. sure he's had some off moments, but over the course, the vast majority of teams playing against him, will have seen that he'll run through a brick wall for his team mates, never give up, be on the offensive at set pieces etc if he had had a settled successful partner from earlier in the season it could have been an even better season
  3. feel free to go review what you both think what the club budgets for and think back to the summer when they laid it out for all to see when the Rangers vote was happening thanks to success on the field and a little bit of luck in a cup draw, the drop might not have been as much as projected but with expectations of top six and cup runs, average crowds down? pitch relaid etc I doubt we've had a profitable year. look forward to no league sponsor and next season, and it would be no surprise if its trimmed again, pretty sure its been mentioned
  4. That would mean we're not really keeping it, if its not an official strip
  5. 4 'Well stars made the PFA team of the year Randolph Hutchinson Law Higdon Quite an achievement and great recognition from their fellow pro's
  6. and with the clutching at straws the powers that be once again fail to capitalise on the fact that they have just hosted a league championship, which was only decided a few weeks before season end.... Relegation is still not decided, a Europa League prize has just been settled and one is still up for grabs, and with only 3 weeks to go, every club is still playing to retain or improve league placings for prize money, throw in, the fact that there has been a fair share of entertaining matches throughout the season and you've got to wonder why all their effort is put into saying change is needed So instead of decrying the game and preaching the need for change perhaps they should have moved on from the recent shambles and started selling our game.
  7. Never , as its nowhere near accurate
  8. Doesnt really change much from my reckoning: only the points gaps changes nearer the top as teams that took points off Celtic lose them, whereas at the bottom its mainly GD that improves from teams that were cuffed of them,
  9. its 10.5% of the Net commercial revenue no one really knows what that is but it will have been forecast and for this season net commercial revenue was forecast to drop, significantly! the well society members at the briefing were told: now third was 9.5% last season and still is 9.5% this season so if anyone know whats any club got paid out last season then it could be forecast to be between ? and ??
  10. cant run cant jump only good for scoring and what a peach of a penalty

    Celtic

some very very impressive performances today, every single player gets pass marks with merit but the only reason we were still in the game was Darren Randolph he was a very busy man and some of the stops were outstanding the others were great but he had a worldy
  12. one of the most important people at Fir Park, I dont think he will continue on fulltime for much longer, he deserves much more recognition for his service, think he took on the role the year after the cup win?
  13. I've just read a tweet from Flow that says cooper suite is open from 12 noon,
  14. speculation about Mondays meeting agenda from the BBC clicky
  15. Think I'll be waiting to see this one out the packet, the last few have been instant purchases this one might be a slow burner
  16. Aberdeen do a ticket restricted to offshore workers or emergency service workers although they charge £195 for a ten ticket pack, I suppose relatively its cheaper than standard prices up there they also do a student six pack ticket for £70 only available once per season per student, aimed partly at students who are away from Aberdeen but return and take in games when they do. dare say clubs are always looking at ways of givingg fans flexible ways of buying tickets, but have to balance that with the risk that say, ten tickets would be enough for many people, that would have bought a full season ticket, so have to put some form of control in ie rig workers
  17. so you would rather more 12-16yr olds got into the East than the current under 12's just checking if your backing or vetoing what folk are saying?
  18. SFL clubs + Dundee and QOS met today, SPL2 not on the Agenda? Lawell hints change proposal has to be made quickly
  19. yip as far as I know, I sit in it, but Fatcalfs question is why differentiate? I take a couple of kids, very grateful of the offer and feel Im doing my bit to give something back for the future, the elder one has been to about a dozen away games, and totally has the bug and wants to get more involved in the atmosphere of games etc and now hes turned 13 its the perfect time to get him nearer the deep end of the East and cement him as a 'Wellfan for life, but as it is, if we can get season tickets he'll have to sit tight in the Cooper as hes now the right age for the East but, that would cost and he'd get in free in the Cooper PS tremendous that any offer exists, just explaining why it would be better, for me anyhow, to have it available in the East for the older kids
  20. 816, I cannot explain it any other way, but safe to say that no one in the club or WS has ever said they were going to use society funds to pay for signings, its been explained to death on other threads, you have went off on one from a snippet above and an interpretation that means society funds might never get used, as we're years away from your targets, I'm sure Steelboy will explain he never said anyone was using funds to sign players, if I get time i'll look back and see what Derek Weir said. now would the 2nd place prize be enough to fund Faddy?
  21. its pretty good value on offer again , was expecting a slight rise or no early bird, but pleased the club were able to freeze the prices Not sure why Fatcalf, could be looked on that, they extended part of the offer to East last season and continued it, nope its more that a difference of one or two, it's one under 12 for the East, cannot get an under 16 according to the blurb whereas up to two under 16's for Cooper
  22. Nothing to do with signing players, in fact the opposite as Steelboy indicated that would be the reason directors could be funding Faddy as there is no spare cash for extras when day to day business only just takes care of itself on a good run,
  23. yes it has been mentioned in meetings that they were going to dip into it for the very reasons it exists and was always planned for: i.e. as the equivalent of an overdraft or credit facility, not to cover losses at this stage
